    Thanks for a great demo. Even after 50+ years of knitting, I’ve had trouble with these increases. I’ve never seen it explained so clearly.

    Thank you for sharing this video. I have always thought that the M1L was easier than the M1R. Now that I use your trick for M1R, this one is WAY easier than the left.

    Thank you so much for this the phrases is the only thing that has ever made M1L and M1R stick in my head which way round they are and have made my current project so much quicker to complete. Cannot wait to do one of your brioche shawls once I’ve finished some other projects

    Yours are the clearest make one videos - your explanations always make me feel like I actually CAN do it! My problem is with the M1L. I have trouble getting that stitch loose enough to get my needle through the back. M1R is much easier. Does anyone have any tips on that M1L?

    The M1R is always tighter for me, so I think "right is tight and left is loose". Love your videos!

    Help!!! I am knitting a cardigan in garter stitch top down.
    Wrong side knit - slip stitch with yarn in front - knit
    Right side knit to slip stitch m1r knit 1 m1l - knit
    My m1r and m1l leaves holes. It is very frustrating. Any suggestions???
