Justin, Mafex has come a long way and has some incredible figures. Their Peter B Parker is excellent, but the Hush Batman and Hush Superman are just superb. The TDKR figures are all great. You're in for a treat.
I have had this figure since it first came out and cannot praise it enough. My 2 pack with Robin has a few paint issues. But my battle damaged "Triumphant" version is a true work of art. Love to see you get a hold of and review that.

Mafex went from bad QC issues and rushed paintwork to starting to be at the level of SHF's. If not even better, offering more accessories (depending the figure) AND ALWAYS include you a stand for your figure and to me that is always a plus. If you loved this figure so much, you're definitely gonna love the other Batman variants, Joker, and ARMORED BATMAN! I cannot wait to get mine but the reviews says it all, it exceeded all expectations. Big bulky armored ass figure but articulated as hell to get all the right poses.😍 Really looking forward to you reviewing more Mafex figures down the line. Awesome review.

This is one of my favorite representations of Batman, both the graphic novel and the 2-part animated movie. In the past, I've avoided MAFEX due to some concerns with quality control; this was my first figure and definitely impressed. I'd just make sure to do some research before going "all in". MAFEX seems to be hit or miss at times from what I've read.

I have all the Mafex DKR figures. My favorite is the Dark Knight Triumphant. I'm not usually big on battle damage, but I think it's the battle damage juxtaposed with that brilliant blue that really pops for me.

Yes it is. Zack Snyder is a huge fan of The Dark Knight Returns story so you can see a lot of inspiration from that story in his DCEU. From Batfleck's suit, to so much as putting a Batman Vs Superman fight in Dawn of Justice WITH Batman wearing a bulky ass modernized version of TDKR's Batman Armor, Batman being very dark and gritty because of having been the Dark Knight for years now and is losing himself thus getting more violent / brutal just like TDKR counterpart. In Dawn of Justice, he uses a rifle to launch a tracking device onto a Lex Luthor truck, Batman using a rifle referencing Batman also using a rifle in TDKR however in that movie it was to launch a rope across two buildings but you get the idea. AND, SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN ZACK SNYDER'S VERSION OF THE JUSTICE LEAGUE MOVIE, At the end bit of the movie where's there's dialogue and different shots of the members of the league, you fucking see Batman tying up Mutants thugs (Mutants as in from TDKR storyline, not Marvel Mutants. 😂) WITH his giant ass tank in the background, THE SAME TANK, from TDKR story so yes, yes this suit gave inspiration for Batfleck's suit. 😂Hope this proves informative. 🤣
Mafex's functionality refrains me from buying their products. Their QC has been wack with every figure I've had from them. But their sculpting is always pretty good.

I honestly would argue that the mafex isnt better than the Mcfarlane. Mafex is pretty overpriced in my opinion and doesn’t hold a candle to the value and quality of the multiverse figs.
