"err" and "set" leds are blinking because you change the timing values for auto-close and working time with the 2 potenciometars and you did not validate the changes by pressing 5s S2 push button. Regards
By default barrier closes only, it is required to program it for automatic closing or open or it could be the issue of safety device like photosensor etc

Antina is used to catch the remote signal from distance & photo sensor is a safety device, it prevents the from accident with the barrier
