Great video. I thought I had followed your directions completely and it would not run. I found that I had set PD004 before PD005 and it does not run that way. I reset it and set PD005 first and now it works as it should.

@Donni Dachitrosi - Fair. I was having a lot of problems with EMF triggering the limit switches. I upgraded the switches and it seems to have solved the problems.
The ability to adjust the spindle speed with a couple button clicks is really handy. And better yet, increasing/decreasing speed for different cuts is pretty slick.

Thanks for the video, great job. A couple items of note is that when I set up my VFD exactly as you stated I got the Spindle to run but it spooled up very slowly and then the VFD gave me an error [E.o.L.A] and the spindle shut down. After mucking about and swearing at it, I then set PD014 to 3.0 and PD015 to 5.0 and I also noticed that PD003 was set to 0, when I do that it will not run correctly and I get errors so I set it 400 and it's perfect now.

Nicholas Giardino when you get your vfd/ spindle the manual that comes with it tells you exactly what each parameter does. The 400’s are hertz that are the maximum that the spindle can run at.
