Hey Michael! Could you give more detail about why would you prefer to run a non PV Cilinder? Im looking for options, in my mind PV is the way to go! thanks for the info! great build!
The total on this build is crazy!! I guessed about half that when you started the list. Still an awesome build. Can’t wait to see videos of it ripping.
If I had the money to do this I'd love to do the same. Learned so much watching videos of you building this. Thanks for the fun times, cant wait for the next one
Out of all the years, your the first one ive seen add it up, most people dont want to know how much it took. Currently building 2 250r's to match my 450r.
It sure does add up fast try doing this every year for racing times 2 quads i stopped keeping track of what i spend years ago 🤣🤣🤣 And if a dealer did this tack on a bunch more for labor but imo it is worth it this machine came out so badass!
Great job Mike, I’m glad to see how much money went into the 250r because it will make you think that you never sell it. It’s a keeper😍hope to see it on future riding videos
Even though alot of us viewers can't afford a build like this, it's still satisfying to watch because on a poverty budget you can't get many upgrades or trick parts but on a no expense spared build like this, you get to see so many awesome trick parts and see a killer combination that should absolutely rip and blow people's doors off lol, keep up the good work man can't wait for future videos.
Thank you for all you went through to make these videos. People will be referring to them for years. Man every build u do u show every step. That's hard af! I made a vid showing how to switch out clutch perches and it turned out to be a 30 min nightmare "uh,uh' " stutter fest that took 5 hrs to edit, so kudos for doin it so well Mike.
Holy hell that was a hella price shock! Wow I really wasn’t expecting that. I remember when ya sat down and started sketching and I thought...yeah man this is gonna be sweet! You killed it man. Congrats! 🙌🏻
Bike looks absolutely amazing dude. Solid job. I’m getting ready to start my own, and really like watching your past videos on certain things as when I’m unsure how to do something. I appreciate all the time it took even just to record this. Keep on riding!
Omg it would take me 50 years to be able to afford a build like that. It looks great and looks like a fun and powerful quad. I’m glad it’s finally done I’ve been following your channel since you did that blaster that’s actually how I found this channel. I needed some help when I was fixing mine like you said when you work on something for the first time you do look back and see what you would have done differently so I know what you mean about that lol.
I have a 250r that was my dads old race bike that he had races in the Baja 1000 twice but it has sat in his garage for the past 20 years pretty much until I steps in and tried to fix but he didn’t want me to but soon I’m going to start learning how to powder coat to make money so I can build it but it’ll need a lot of work
Hey mr Sabo your an inspiration to me I’m 17 and I bought my all original lt500r with 45 hours and would love to build it and will slowly but surely I got some pics and vids of what we’re doing to it now if you want we could get in touch with each other and I could learn a lot from you I don’t want money nothing like that I’d love to learn from you man I got a video of it on here and I love this wheeler to death man it’s an amazing bike I’d really appreciate if you would respond but I understand if you don’t your a busy man with some amazing builds to ride and finish!
Hey James, thanks so much for following my build and for the feedback. I'm happy to hear that I've inspired you. I'm sure you'll get that quadzilla built up nicely with time. It can be hard to keep up with messages but if you send me a DM on instagram, I may be able to help out when I can!
hi mate i will sub i wanna see more about your lt500, make some video from time to time about it so see the progression, love them crazy machines. how much u paid for it they kinda of rare quads nowdays
I think I just shit my pants 😂 Big money Mike, but you showed your talents and definitely gained subscribers in this build. So awesome to see come to life.
Dang, thats ALOT.. I may do a interesting moped build this winter, if i do ill send some stuff, its going to be amazingly fast, and i have a trick up my sleeve but will take some finessing!
@@MichaelSabo should be, hopefully doing a suzuki bergman 650 (x2) or something similiar, pep it up, change out tires and have fun offroading/backroading my way to work. I just need enough power to longwheelie..
Mr. Sabo, Any chance you still have the oem flywheel? I'd be interested in purchasing it from you. I recently bought an 86 250R and it's having a hard time hitting the power band in 1st and 2nd. It just wants to bog. I have done a lot of carb jetting with very little improvement. After removing the left cover I found the top bolt has worked itself out of the counterbalance cover and was laying in the bottom of the case under the stator. Also resulting in the CB cover breaking the other two tabs off and being loose causing some leakage of fuel into the left cover chamber. SO the reason I need the flywheel is because the bolt while playing around in the case has ground down the front half of the raised portion (that I believe creates the spark?) Anyway. Love all your vids. Keep it up!
Would like to also add I’ve seen all your video through research and you do amazing work. And one question ... what quad do you live more the banshee or 250r (I’d mention others that you have built but I wanna know two stroke class) ?
Still a badass built now u need one of Steve isf racing frames with the cr500 link I'm at about 12k with my Arens250r but alot of my stuff is used on it from other people😂
WOW !!! 20 freakin K 🤣🤣🤣 That is a kick ass build but there’s no way I would dump that much into any quad lol I’ll stick to my budget build 250r for now . Excellent videos !!! I’d like to se a 250r restoration that is completely stock just because . Curious how much you’d have Into that . Probably the same lol
Wow these builds add up fast. I won’t even add mine up lol. ESR did your quick change clutch cover? I know NPM did the outer quick change cover. Just curious cause I want to get mine done. If you can give me an answer on this it would be greatly appreciated, just want another option for the quick change clutch cover.
@@MichaelSabo I am all about 250r and I hope your channel becomes the biggest on u tube going to upgrade to your front suspension this winter again thanks for showing the cost of your build love it
I’ve watched this build series about 12 or 13 times just over and over I just got done with another quadzilla I have one quadzilla in a z400 frame and I just got done building a all original one my z400 quadzilla hybrid dynoed 109 horse and 81 pound of torque
And i hate to tell you Mike that what you got into that quad it is still not done. And you will have to keep that quad for as long as it takes because no one is going to pay 20 grand for a quad unless it it is a new 4x4 or a new side by side. But i tell you right now get rid of the banshee and put more money in that 250r and other projects .Great job mike on that quad i told you in the very beginning it was going to be expensive. GREAT QUAD job very well done
Great vid I highly doubt that you'd get your money back none of your time which is love I know but if someone said they bought a 20,000 dollar R I would laugh !!
She's a bad bitch... But Jesus god, thats a lightly used rzr turbo out here in AZ. I have an almost stock 87 R and she does me real nice 🤙 sick bike, and as a vet, I love all the effort you commit. Keep it going Mike
This is actually pretty inexpensive compared to current pricing. I’m currently buying parts to build my 86 and there are several of these exact parts that are 20-40 percent more now
Thank you man, it really was hard to drop that kind of money on such a simple part, especially when companies like LSR make great A-arms for half of that.
Should of capt it mostly og has more value i have a 1985 atc250r sitting n my garage and its all og only time i ride it around the block 1nce a month keeping it clean lol
Thank you to everyone who followed the 250R build series! Links to all of the parts are in the description of the video! You guys ROCK!!! 🤘
Your the best at home builder on TH-cam bro great work
I’d like to see you build up a Suzuki ltr 450
I would love to see you build an old cr or kx 500

Well this hobby isn’t cheap and when you go all out to create your unique build it’s definitely worth ever bit invested

Thank you for following the series and for your support!
You cut no corners and that's what a true build should be. By far the most professional job on the prettiest 250R ever. 👊
Wow, thank you so much man!
This makes me want to build a 250r that is a sick build always a good job 👍
Sick build! Not cheap but the feeling of ripping a sick quad is priceless.

Great video Mike! Followed every video of this beast! It was so worth it
Totally worth it mint quad
I still say that is one of the coolest 250r’s on the planet!!
Holy shit. Over 20k. But I watched the whole series and knew it was high but not that high
That's crazy. That much money I got a 1988 lt250r and I just ported nice and I'll keep up with it anywhere
Come run that beauty this wknd up at Jacks Racing mx track in NY for the New England Atv-Utv series !!!
Did you have the plastics painted that desert tan color or was that an option when you bought them ??? The bike came out sick
I would have guessed $20k. Nice work Mike. Keep it up.
Great job.love the build.You did it right.looking forward to a 450 4 stroke build.
Hell yeah, love this quad !!!

Regilio Bouma 2800 was how much my crf 450r was worth that I traded deal of a life time!
This was a great series. Congratulations on getting her finished up. Would love to see you build a full blown bad ass quadzilla.

If there was any deciding too sell it or keep it I’m sure that spread sheet always reminds you. YOU HAVE TO KEEP IT

how do you fund these builds?
you said you made that wrap your self?
What made them so competitive? I'm interested in the lower vs higher cc engine competition. Also, what is a stroker crank?
Stroker crank is a crank with a longer rod. Adds to displacement and gives more hp/tq
@@vincentwennberg1948 Thanks!

How do u get sponsored for any of your builds?
Holy shit bro! $$$... but she turned out fire!
