man as im rebuilding / building another 250r im coming back and watching all of these videos . after a few years and many builds of mine and your own , i bet you could be a championship bike builder / mechanic . everything you build is on point and every detail is carefully looked over and thats what winning a championship takes as a mechanic .
It's important to grip your torque wrench at the end where the grip is; if you use it the way I do in this video you will slightly over torque your bolts. Thank you for the people that reached out and corrected me; I was unaware of this 🤘 If you could run any beadlock on your bike... what would you choose 🤔 Thank you so much and all you guys and gals ROCK!!! 🤘
Someone will have to explain that to me. It make zero sense. You set the torque, not the force!! If the wrench is set to 'clic' at 10 ft*lb, you, doing it by pushing 1lb at 10inchs or pushing 2lbs at 5inchs is the same torque!! The only thing is that you will have to push harder.
Claude, you are correct. Holding the torque wrench at the very end add more leverage to make it easier to reach the set torque value. Granted, holding the torque wrench lower down the grip will require more effort which if your struggling to reach the desired torque value.
Bro anything that comes to mind. You have it or I’ve seen u take the time to highlight it while doing something in the area of what I’m looking to have answered. I swear I probably have a video on picking your nose. And I’m sure I’ll learn something new hahahaha. Good 💩!! Love the channel!!
One good way to set the tire bead without over inflating is bouncing it on the ground. Be careful though, it might go sky high if you aren’t holding it tight.
I’m in the process of mounting beadlocks, but I’m confused about something. After the ring is put on, how does the bead of the tire get seated on the ring side? You get the tire “over” the outer edge of the wheel.
@@thebennetts1307 nobody is talk n about changing the id. And you use custom built to your needs spacers for a himes joint a arm, if you do change the Id for repair
Shoulda tightened a ratchet strap over the tire while settingthe bead. You might have balooned them even though you cant see it if you ride a wheelie even if psi is the same it could push to one side
I dont recommend using grease because it doesnt dry like bead lube or dish soap so on a bike powerful enough the wheel could slip in the tire been there done that haha
Hey Mike - rebuilding a 90’s Polaris Scrambler and am having a hard time finding beadlocock wheels for the rear. Know of any companies that make a 4x4 bolt pattern bead lock wheel?
Dude have you seen the price of c25 or argon or oxygen and acetylene tanks new. Bloody hell the gas is cheap the tanks are anywhere from $250 to $400 depending on size. This is double the price what they use to be thanks to the tariffs . I would have kept that cylinder.
Have a few aftermarket 250r frame's also forsale maybe it could be the one for your biuld please let me know I am willing to send videos and pictures of my whole 250r collection one of the biggest on the east coast l promise you

Rounded side down my man. Keeps it from marring your loot!
“It might seem like a little pain in the ass but so are women, and we still like those” AND YOO WTF THE ENDING 😂🙂😳 ur twin
😂😂😂
I love your channel. Makes me feel like I’m a part of the show. I love working on my bikes as well.
I’m ready to see that frame get powder coated!! Been following the build and it’s looking badass so far

Michael Sabo you need to hold the torque all the way at the end
@James Manzie haha, good taste man
@@machines1431 just learned this and researched it through snapon. Thank you for the info!! You are correct

them yellow letters look sweet . and good looking welds . I cant wait to see the first ride video
Thank you brother 🤘
Remind me of build season every winter for the then years I raced Mx. A lot of work, but so much fun.
Lmao.... i was so shocked when it was Mike that came in under the garage door haha

These wheels look insane
I loved the holeshots and they are amazing with plenty grips from nice and sunf and duro tire looks very simalir in most sizes
super clean dinnerly picking those up for the banshee
My front left is deflating I hope I just gotta maintenance it and there isn’t a hole I got some hipher beadlocks
Keep up the good work love all the videos brother!
Thank you for watching bro!
Mxr6 tires are dope that's what I putting on my 450r
I cant wait to rip them on loose dirt!!!
Very nice weld job
Nice I like Miller but that little Lincoln ain’t bad
No anti seize on the beadlock bolts?? Killer looking wheels.
great vid mike, definitely buying one of those shirts!!
Thank you Tyler; I appreciate it!
Might just have the next quad of the month for you!👌
Rounded side down bro I think is better won’t scratch the ring as much with the washers sharper edge… 🤘🏼

Yes, a good technique indeed!
Looking to run the exact same wheels on my Raptor but with a different tire
That was hilarious at end lol women. Thank you bro im officially a subscriber
The end of the video tho 😂😂😂
Got to get some
There’s a spray can called “ anti spatter “ it should help you out on the welds 👍🏻
Ahh, I've seen it but never tried. Thank you for the info man!
Turn your wire speed down.
Mike tire balls or tire blocks? Your opinion
What exact rubber tires are they please??size and make

Anyone can do it, if your arms are the size of your thigh lmaoo🤣🤣🤣
Lmao, thank you man 💪
My OCD makes me wish u put a washer on the other side of the frame Lol
Contemplating.... might do it
Do both sides to all the lower mounts
Then the a arm wouldn't fit inside the two mounts? Duh lol

Hopefully that didnt happen; I went to 29 pounds. If you go crazy with the PSI I could see that happening though.
you got any recommendations for the bolt patters and tire sizing? what is the best?
how can i get these for a yfz450r 2022 having a little trouble finding it the beadlock and rock out fronts
I appreciate how OCD you are haha makes for good content brotha
Goldspeeds are really good that’s what I run on my yfz
Yes I hear great stuff about them; I was very close to running them
Where did you get the tires and what size?
Love the content man 🤙
#GOODCONTENTGANG
Thank you brother!!
Invest in a tig your welding clean material most of the time anyways
Great video!
Who are you using for a music service?
Thank you bro; I use epidemic sound for most of my tracks 🤘
Michael Sabo thanks for the reply i think I’m about ready to try a music service! I keep getting copyright claims on music from youtube 😡
@@ononewheel7 oh dude.. it's well worth the 15 bucks a month. I have not once received a copyright claim since using epidemic. And no problem man!
What air pressure do you run on those?
I need to get me a set🧐💲💲
those would look sweet on the pop top
@@867diesel They would.🥶🤑👍🏻
My holeshots took 70psi on my 8 inch itp rims
Are you serious? That's crazy haha
Use waterproof grease and will pop by 30 or so psi.

Whaaaaat. I don’t know how you can get new plastics in the mail and not even open the box!!! 🙈
Dude... it's hard. I like to wait to open everything on camera so the reaction is genuine.
Gotta do it for the peeps I guess. You’re a true professional! 😜👍👍

Realistically in my area, they go for 2-250 new. 75-125 used is fair in my opinion. Is what it is, sold it in 30 minutes; convenience pays lol
