I like when you show us things like fueling up and keeping the machine clean and explaining about the job . Great video and end result 🇺🇸👍🏻 also showing how you want the water to drain. Great work on the mini ex Josh 🇺🇸👍🏻
Really enjoying your videos! Been considering starting my own mulching business up here in Ohio. Wish you would talk more about the cost of running and going rates in your area.
Another good one "Upstate". So glad "DIRT PERFECT" turned many of us on to this channel. Thank you! JOSH - Yeah, you can go for IDOL but I'm not sure your machine will fit onstage. Get some measurements and good luck with all that. Sonny (CT)
Brilliant, as always! John, thanks for showing your fueling situation. Also, for pointing out the thing about the sap. I have seen that in a couple of my own videos, and thought I must have hit a rock or something. So that’s good to know. Josh: Wham!? Really? Don’t quit your day job. 😉
John I really think you would benefit from buying a chipper. Something like a bandit 250. You could hand drop or chew them off with your head and feed chipper with X. Much more productive then chewing and chewing and less maintenance. Just a thought. Also I have a root ripper for my e50 and that’s the cats ass for what you’re doing. My man I’m watching chew and chew on that tree. A little bandit would have taken the entire thing. Save you tons of time.
Should the rule be John, post inspection from day prior, so next day operator has a clear view of Pre Inspection beginning his day? Just learning this trade?
for those that dont know you can not use pine for fire wood in your house it will coat the inside of the fireplace then catch fire and burn your house down
Exactly this, it'll coat that flue right up, then you get a chimney fire and the house goes up before you know it. You can use a very small amount of pine in a pinch to light the heavier stuff and get it to temp, then that heavy stuff will take off and eat that coating up before it gets to the flue. That's we do in our stove at the the house. keep it as tinder for the most part cause it lights quick and burns just long enough to get the rest going. Anything after that though is all oak or some other kind of heavy fuel.
Hi your videos are great!!! I was wondering why you chose a asv skid steer over other brads ? Is it because the ride , flotation on side hill ? Thanks. Keep it up !!
Whats the Approx cost of a job like that with the 2 machines and operators John ? A Ball park figure. I'm a heavy equipment operator from NYC and will be needing to the same in N.Carolina hopefully soon.
I'm just east of Charlotte, been looking around at prices to get 3-4 acres thinned out and mulched for walking & ATV trails. I'm seeing between $150-175 an hour for the skid steer only. Thinking about just hiring someone for two full days to get as far as they can. Debating whether to hire a drum fecon style or diamond disc style. Looks like the drum does a finer job, disc seems to go faster?
The cool weather made me think of the time (80's) when I bought a Noble Fur Christmas tree and the fun (sarcasm) I had getting it out of the apartment after Christmas. I would have loved watching you shred that thing into mulch. Forget Zombie Apocalypse, bring on Christmas Tree Apocalypse and your beast of a machine!
You went over the same spot 14 times. Why reverse so far back each stroke? Why accelerate when moving forwards causing you to bounce over the material? This cannot be efficient.
Guys the one thing I did notice in this video and a couple in the past...debris shooting out the front and some pretty big pieces at that and Josh in the Excavator was not far from being hit...plus with a window out that is where accidents happen just asking for trouble please please be vigilant guys I know its the way you work but please BE SAFE....Is there a way to somehow make a protection skirt at the front so debris cannot be thrown out forward...Great video guys ....Stay Safe....Josh don`t give up the day job
Josh keep your day job, that singing gave me a headache, and John I don't want to ride in your pocket again, leave me outside, to bumpy and glare thru the glass
YOUNG MAN U WAS TALKING ABOUT YOUR BRUSH GUARD / SURE BE ARCH BRUSH GUARD YOUR DEBRIS WILL ROUND OFF THE MACHINE EVERY TIME ALSO NEED AIR COMPRESSOR TOO
Great videos! Josh we love you but don’t quit your day job! Bullet Bob from Texas! ❤️🤠🤠😀😀👍👍

So I watch Dirt perfect and missed what he said about us, feel really bad about that.So do you recall which video it was? Thanks for watching.
Brilliant, as always!

I think that your upper bar on fecon needs a bar running up in a v to push trees away from center of machine
Do the controls on the excavator, ever wear out?
That is cool how you can fill gas from a tank on your truck
American Idol, don't give up your day job!!! LOL!!!
Ya, don't quit your day job!!but try out it won't hurt too bad!!
WE LOVE jOSH. kEEP IT UP. Good job guys.
you should do before and after photos at the end guys
Thanks for the feedback, we try, but they often don't make it into every video.
Hi your videos are great!!! I was wondering why you chose a asv skid steer over other brads ? Is it because the ride , flotation on side hill ? Thanks. Keep it up !!
You oughta keep a little whisk broom in the skid steer cab to wipe the debris off.
YA'LL DO A GREAT JOB
Sounds like a boy band gig
Ok new camera looks great and ding that’s a lot of mulch and please oh please don’t let Josh sing anymore please 👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸

Sorry buddy don't give out my prices.

Jdubski NC drum is way better on stuff 3 inches and bigger. Disc is better in small brushier stuff.

*Well done.*
Your skid steer needs a rear mounted live camera to see the the unmulched chunks of tree trunk you missed.
Stick with the excavator Josh! Maybe the church choir eh? Nice vid as always boys!
Josh is working wayyy to hard, John I think he needs a raise.😎😉
Ha ha josh probably thinks he needs one too.
Josh and Willie are worth their weight in gold. Employees like them just don’t come along every day.
Go for it American Idol
How many hours are on your asv josh
1,800
Any issues and how has it held up
Nothing major, very happy with the machine wish I had 2 of them.
Ok thanks looking into getting a machine and doing timber stand improvement work in the north Western PA game lands along with my logging business
Mulching is satisfying at double speed
Go for it Josh
Looks fun but I don't see how it's not cheaper to hire dozer and burn or haul off. Seems costly and slow
I wanted to burn all the debris but the customer did not want to. Where this job was would cost too much to haul off.
Clearing the forest for the trees. You can see.
You went over the same spot 14 times. Why reverse so far back each stroke? Why accelerate when moving forwards causing you to bounce over the material? This cannot be efficient.
Commented, Thumbed up.
What you fuel consumption on the 120? I
30 gallons
I’m getting 5-6 hours per 30 gallons in my brand new 120f , I was wondering if your getting around the same ,
Yes that's what I'm getting as well
Keep running excavator you might go broke singing Josh.
Nice job well done.

So true!
When I heard Josh singing I knew how the excavator’s window broke. :)
@@edwardgarea7650 lol
Can you message me about price of RT135

@@UpstateBrushControl thats not a bad price but I think I am done with ASV there customer service sucks and they won't fix anything on warranty
Great channel. 🤣🤣🤣
like the old saying goes Don't quit your day job Josh lol
You need to sand and buff out your windshield. It will help a lot.

My ears are bleeding.. Don't quit your day job Josh! LOL jk.
What did Josh do with the money????
