❤️I was in the Isle of Barra last month- truly breathtaking beaches and scenery as is your beautiful footage capturing the essence of the Western isles. Btw.. what’s the music? Complements so well..

As a pro photographer, specialising in the Hebrides for marketing purposes, I have to say this is the best video of the Western Isles I have seen.
I particularly liked the location titles displayed, as so many other videos don't bother to tell the viewer.
I also liked the lack of commentary, the simple but well chosen music and the added personal touch, where appropriate.
Hopefully I'll find more of your work on TH-cam.

Ruari Cumming ARPS Thank you for your kind words! It’s much appreciated, it was meant to be just a hobby video done to document and remember our holiday but I’m pleased it portrays the Outer Hebrides in glorious weather as it truly is a special place, we’d love to come back.

@@mikenorris3930 Thank you for your kind words. As a "newbie" to video photography, could you share with me what software you use to "splice" the sequences together?
I have considered a drone but can't really justify the cost or usage, on top of "pro" priced camera kit!
I've found your other sequences so will have an enjoyable afternoon!
Take care and keep safe. Ruari.

@@RuariCumming I apologise for my *very* late response! I only did it as a hobby so I’ve not used high end drones/software. The drone was the original Mavic Air, there is a newer model available now with improved specs, they are fantastic bits of kit. For the software, I used an app on the iPad called LumaFusion. It was a £20 one off purchase on the App Store, its a fairly fully featured video editing app. It’s ideal as it means I can shoot footage and then edit whilst not at home - for example editing a camping holiday video from inside the tent on a rainy day! Have you since your comment purchased a drone?

Beautiful and you got very lucky with the weather! Can't wait to bring my daughter over there this summer for a multiday hike around the hidden archipelagos :)
