Skip to 6:00 if you don't want to watch the collar ties 😅
You’re a hero
It’s completely unacceptable that no one takes a shot for 6 minutes of a match. We need WAY more stalling penalties.
@@JG-uw3chAmen! Preach it.
For real! And Varela always hyped cause he talks shit about people stalling and acts all crazy. This weekend he slapping purple belts at adcc takes 3rd place by dq cause he couldn't pass the guard. So over rated.
The guard passing was beautiful
Andy rythym steps every time hes gonna engage. Nick was ready everytime
7 minutes of collar ties, wtf…
watching high level hand fighting helps you create better set ups to shots. just gotta analyze it correctly
Almost 7 minutes of horrendously boring collar ties is what happens when you can't pull guard in Jiu-Jitsu. I'm sure everyone here was sooo excited to watch that.
no pulling guard and just lower the time to 6 minutes
It’s annoying when opponents with such a big weight advantage fight so passively
Oh ffs, Varela is chewing a gum during the whole fight... Don't think I have ever seen that before.
I thought commentator was talking about Benson Henderson lmao he walked around with a toothpick 24/7 back in his prime 😂😂😂
Uns 20 kg a mais de diferença
Super😅❤
Nikki Rod is so good at dominating his opponents, but he is so bad at submissions. He’s like the equivalent of a fighter that only wins by decision.
Essentially GSP, who I called Mr. 5 Round Decision.
@@ununseptium7961gsp had more finishes than decisions, but not by much. He was champ for so long that he was fighting guys that had years of film to study on him. Hard to finish guys that know your game and are the toughest guys in the division. Gsp wasn’t the decisionator people make him out to be
@@pninnan I don't shit on his entire career, but he didn't finish Nick Dias, who shouldn't have gotten a top 10 opponent, let alone a title shot.
@@ununseptium7961 dias? whos that

Both preformed amazingly
Just imagine what nicky will do when he has qll the tech down and starts using cardio strategy to add to his style. He can wear them down already, but when hes conserving energy efficiently like Marcelo hes gonna be a big problem.
Funny they do alot of Danaher moves still 🤣
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
That referee loves to be on camera! lol
Massacre total
Heavy, aggressive collar ties… they weren’t backing down!
gee wonder who won this
Rodriquez 6
Varela 0
Finally some more hyped JJers instead of the low hyped ones.
🥱
Dominant
9:50is it just me or did this armbar attempt look kinda sloppy?
Ehh, Andy is a scrappy scrambler. That’s probably why.
That's why it's scary to think about when Nicky gets more technical. He's gonna be like a smart toquinho.😅
Sloppy S mount plus sweat is what I saw 😂
He’s not technical
Sooo boring 6mins of my life wasted on them doing colar ties. WTF
Uneven match
Poor, sloppy tech from Nickyrod. Couldnt even attack sub from high mount against much smaller opponent.
Extremly low sub rate.
BORING 🤡
