Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco, and the shocking revelation that monsters are real, “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” tracks two siblings following in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch.
Clues lead them into the world of monsters and ultimately down the rabbit hole to Army Officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell), taking place in the 1950s and half a century later where Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows.

Thats not possible if that happens then king of monsters wouldn't happen. Its between 1 and 2 movie its about finding hollow earth and creating monarch i can guess when they will be in hollow earth we can see Godzilla fight...its a good show but lots of talking i understand most people will get board but i like it but the 3 teen characters are horrible plain horrible that Japanese boys character writing feels like he doesn't even want to be on show..but other trios are awesome feels like normal genuine people.

I will admit that in the mid this show got boring but the last 3 episodes were wonderful.. Especially the last 2 episode were fabulous.... I hope they really will put a lot more effort in the writing of season 2 & provide us even more better season than this

Minus one was one of the best movies I have seen in a really long time. No Godzilla show or movie is as good. Sure, Shins cool and all, and the OG Godzilla is cool, but no way are they better than minus one overall. Minus one is better than most movies that have come out in a while.
I really like the series so far although i did feel some scenes were a bit rushed but maybe it was just me! either way i can't wait for the next episode!

I thought the show was really good, I would’ve liked to see more monsters but I was surprisingly invested in the human storyline, especially when it came to the parts that show the past, or Lee Shaw in general.

this show is so good. it’s a great change of pace and focus from the giant, larger-than-life creatures and battles in GvK and so on. if you want something more grounded, something more character driven, or if you simply wanted to take things slow after watching the latest city-sweeping monster battle, then this is the perfect show for you. it expands the current godzilla universe by adding so much depth to the world and the people living there-lately, the godzilla movies have become almost solely focused on big giant monsters fighting each other. there’s nothing wrong with that at all, it’s fking awesome! but I do miss the more grounded, character-driven storytelling from godzilla 2014 and even king of the monsters. this show really brings that back without having to take away from all the blockbuster movie action. it’s a genius decision, really, to break into TV. they’ve done it way better (and way smarter) than marvel did. this series has really gone above my expectations, especially with those last few episodes, and i’m so incredibly hyped for a season two.

Bro, don’t even sugarcoat it. The show was tragic. They should’ve called it monarch legacy of people because there is nothing to do with monsters in it it was filled with flashbacks of characters that no one cared about. The whole shows is a complete utter failure
After the 2 or 3 episodes, the whole storyline gets a bit too lengthy. A lot of dialogues and not so much action to keep your attention. We want to see and enjoy more of Godzilla.

First two episodes didn’t grab me but I personally ended up really like the show.
There’s no Godzilla in the title the show is about Monarch however there is smaller scenes of monster attacks in the show which I was satisfied with those scenes as they were pretty good.
The Monarch organization sign looks exactly like that of "Moneta" a bank based in Czech Republic 😂

A doubt lingers in my head regarding the passage of time on Hollow Earth portrayed in the Monarch series, where it is shown that days on Hollow Earth would be equivalent to months and years on the surface, but I don't see this being worked on in the films. Would this be explained in some other official Legendary source, or is this a continuity error between the films and series that will be ignored?

I hope Kaiju from other movies like Pacific Rim and Rampage enter the Monsterverse. I don't think it's odd because, if Godzilla was created by Toho, and King Kong was created by RKO Radio Pictures, and they are in a shared universe, I think WB and Legendary should make other Kaiju movies, outside of Godzilla and Kong, like, Rampage and Pacific Rim movies set in the Monsterverse.
And Legendary could share Pacific Rim with both WB and Universal, because the first movie is made by WB, while the second movie (Pacific Rim: Uprising) is made by Universal, Legendary Pictures could make a Pacific Rim movie set in the Monsterverse, and distributed by Universal Pictures, and the PR characters could appear in crossover movies (crossing with Godzilla, Kong, Rampage, etc) produced by WB!
Like Tom Holland's Spider Man appear in both Disney MCU/Marvel Studios movies, and Sony MCU/Marvel Studios movies!
So I really hope this happens in the future of the Monsterverse!

Haven't seen it yet but I think what the producers are doing is expanding the universe so there is more context for the films filling empty plot holes and things never explained kind of what marvel did with Disney plus hope it's good

Maybe I'm wrong, but this series is weird....., The lead character looks 17 years old but then we see she is a teacher and is in a serious grown up relationship..., and is a brazen cheater with little remorse until the Godzilla Attack. After the attack her mourning feels like crocodile tears..., who wrote this? Then the cast in general is VERY adversarial. Every scene is an argument and they all are keeping secrets from each other. They constantly complain how bad their lives are, and lie to each other all the time. What makes things worse is not one of these characters has the POV of the audience. Russel the Son's characters makes a baffling choice that messes everything up at Monarch.., Only engaging character is Russel the Father as he knows how to wring the emotion out of any kind of scene. His character could be putting gas in his car and make it dramatic...., This is clearly a missed opportunity because the story of Monarch covers at least 4 big conspiracy theories. Also, jumping back and forth in time could reveal more meaningful secrets of the younger characters and the world of the story.
It's definitely a bad show with unlikable characters.

Episodes 1-3 were tolerable...4-6 are unbearable. I never thought a big budget tv show about my favorite giant monster could be such a letdown.
As a huge fan of The Lord Of The Rings and seeing what Amazon did to it while spending 1 million per episode I can relate.

I like the series, but we NEED more monsters. We need an equal amount of human and monster screen time like the movies because the monster moments were so good and we had very few screen time for them every episode, but it still has a very good and suspenseful storyline like Godzilla KOTM, I rate this an honest 8/10, it’s still a great show though, and I hope there is more monster screen time in Kong’s upcoming season of the series.
