One car overlooked was the 1984 Isuzu Impulse (aka Isuzu Piazza). A Japanese car designed by Italian Designer Giorgetto Guigiaro. The new car, fully loaded cost $11,000 USD compared to $22,000+ for a well equipped 1984 Datsun 300ZX Turbo. I bought one in red w/gray mouse fur interior. I drove nicely & turned heads everywhere. After owning numerous cars & most new cars, that is the one that's missed the most.

Mazda has the strongest design language of any manufacturer imo. The MX-30 is probably their ugliest car not best looking.
Mazda 3 on the other hand has been universally praised for its design.

Personally I'll go for a Kia Stinger rather than the EV6. Also, I think the RS5 and RS7 Sportback look gorgeous, even better than the E-tron RS. I can't say that I agree with everything on this video but good content as always Matt👌

Yes, finally someone who acknowledges the beauty of the Audi 4-door coupes! The RS4 and RS6 get all the plaudits because of the estate/wagon cult, but I’d take their saloon-esk sisters everyday! (They have lift back tailgate to reveal a big boot, just like an estate/wagon, btw) The EV6, while not the best-looking Kia, is the coolest-looking Kia. The DBX-rear end, the unconventional profile, the pronounced headlights, just yes.

How the hell is the Mach E a good looking car in any metric? It's literally the ugliest piece of design with the blue oval in the past decade. It's fits the model y description perfectly, it's a Mustang that ate all the pie and got its face smashed by a hammer.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Personally, I have grown weary of cars that look like used bars of soap. While I'm not sure I can refer to any trucks as "beautiful", there are at least some that look functional so I agree with your picks of he Wrangler and the G-wagon. When my wife asked me to take her to a Ram dealership to buy a truck she had picked out online, I thought it was the prettiest pickup truck I had ever seen - a 2018 Ram Classic Express in an exterior color Ram called Blue Streak. Of course, it has seldom been as clean as when I first saw it and it now has some body damage but I try to squint enough to imagine it as I first saw it. They don't seem to still offer that exterior color but, last I knew, you could still buy a Ram Classic Express - and the Ram does look quite good in some of the currently-available colors.
You got a gem there partner. 2 actually. a really good car, and a wife who can differentiate between a good car and an ugly one. Fix it up and make it look pristine again.

@@rogermetzger7335 Definitely do that if you got the money. While I love cars, I value financial stability. a 2018 Classic Ram is amazing, especially in the blue. If a 2023 is not within your budget, the 2018 is still a solid one.
Definitely 50/50 for me on agreeing/disagreeing. You were spot on with my opinions with about half, but I totally disagree with the other half. The only one I really think is a sin to say is that the Audi R8 (the older model, not the new design) isn't Audi's best looking car. For sure, porche makes perfect designs though.

Actually disagree on lots of these (but that is to be expected given the many choices), but mainly disagree with Citroen and Ssangyong...new cars from them (in my opinion) looks good (Rexton) to even really nice (new C4 and C5X). Great video either way though! :)

The Germans giants have forgotten how to design cars. Both BMW and Mercedes have the ugliest and/or the most uninspiring line-up of cars right now. Ironically VW who use to make the most boring looking cars ever have really stepped up their design game, their cars are genuinely good looking these days.

For Hyundai, you were correct for 2022 Ioniq 5, but this year, I would say it would be the Ioniq 6.
For Mercedes, I thought the ugliest was the GLC coupe.
For Nissan, I thought it would be the Nissan Juke in the UK, and the Nissan Kicks in the US.

This was very interesting to watch, even though I disagree with a lot of Matt's opinions....that's all on me though--I don't find SUVs or hatchbacks to be typically attractive (I hate the Mustang SUV, it's ugly and no one can change my mind. Shame on you Ford). But it's always interesting to see various opinions on the matter, even if they're unpopular or ones I can't fully get behind. (Though I do need to point out that Aston Martin did make the Cygnet, which was an ugly car....BUT it's the only ugly car Aston Martin ever made so they definitely did better than a lot of the other makes on this list!)
The cygnet was made to apply with emissions regulations, so it gets a pass. However, the DBX is a shameless cashgrab
You may not believe me but to me long 5 door SUVs are the most attractive type of cars. My top 10 prettiest cars contains a big number of SUVs: 2020 Land Rover Defender 110 🥇, X164 Mercedes-Benz GL 🥈, X204 GLK, WL Grand Cherokee.

You have the kias backwards. The EV6 looks like oversized mini car, it's huge, but from pictures it looks like it should be as big as ceed, at best. But it's huge and weirdly shaped.

I'm with you on most of these but saying no Alfa looks particularly good is atrocious. The Giulia and Tonale are absolute works of art.

I thought the new Avalon was poorly styled, but the Prius, seriously? The front ain't the best but when he meant the rear was especially ugly I thought he was joking, because COME ON, the rear? It's BEAUTIFUL!
And also The Camry SE looks better than the GR Yaris, but that's just my opinion. I also expected the Fiat Multipla (1st Gen) to be there as Fiat's ugliest but I forgot that it's cars that are currently on sale, but that thing deserves to be in the Ugly list, no matter what.
