He's not wrong. I would have loved to have him as a kid too! I was around 11 years old when I first saw the Transformers in 1984. And the one toy I wanted was Optimus Prime. If they had this robot toy in 1984, it would have blown everyone's mind. It still blows my mind today how far tech has come.

But in fact your charming, child-like joy seems to speak to him to the point where he now nearly has the entire 9 minutes memorized, including play-acted motions. I don't know how to break him of this bizarre addiction, and both my wife and I are slowly losing our minds, but I thought you'd like to know how much joy you've brought one kid in San Francisco via a silly unboxing video.

I preordered in AUGUST 2021, it was delivered today. This OPTIMUS PRIME robot is FANTASTIC! I have been giggling like a little kid all day ( I'm 70). When you receive your robot read the instructions first, this is a very expensive piece of technology.

Reminds me of the robot I coded in a computer science class. Had trouble all semester with the code, ended up having to re-code it on the day of the presentation in-class after the memory card corrupted. Coded it and left it on the table, then went to observe someone else's presentation (which was much cooler than mine) and when it was finished turned around to see my robot drive itself off the table and onto the floor. Apparently I did not code it quite that well... That was my suicidal robot.
