Transformers is one of my favorite shows! Grimlock is my favorite Transformer! This is amazing! It feels like he is alive! Every action is perfect! The movement works very well! They even got the original voice actor! To top it all off, personally, one of the things that makes me laugh the most is fart jokes and they made it Canon that Grimlock does that. I feel like this was designed to be perfect in every way possible for what I would want in a toy. Too bad the price is outrageous and needs to be lowered.

@@darkasian755 I don't care about none of that, 1500 dollars is ludicrous. That's a down payment on a car. No toy robot should be that much. And for a toy that transforms and talks, and moves......I still can't see how it should cost more than a gaming pc or console. Besides moving and transforming, and looking cool, it can't do much else. Just my opinion. If you have 1500 to blow, I guess it's no big deal.

Grimlock is taller than the Optimus Prime Elite version which is the same as the model you see here but stands at 15in instead of 19in in this version (Grimlock stands at 16in)
Price is insane, but this version of Grimlock is perfect! I know the downsides are that he shouldn't be a display item and can't be used for stop motion, but as far as what he is able to do, it is perfect!
For stop motion could you not take a great many photos as it's doing anything that is not a specific pose and then remove frames to help give the illusion of stop motion? I also think that you can pose using the app. I think the transformation is likely the only problem. I very well could be wrong on both counts though, just spitballing!
This is so cool! I love all of hid actions, especially the Dino-Bot ones are adorable and hilarious! Too bad it is so expensive, but I think it is the best Transformers item I've seen regardless.
I hope that they release a software that allows you to say "Autobots transform and roll out" That would make them both transform to bot to alt mode then start moving

For me it’s also not a question of cost it’s actually that it just sits their when your bot messing with it, I like something to mess with a pose and repose in differently, this doesn’t allow for that, I appreciate that’s not what’s it’s designed for or it’s perpose but I prefer something to pose.
@jamesburr25 I just bought one and I can tell you, it's not overpriced. It has 85 CPUs in it and the 34 servos aren't cheap. I have been building robots for years and I know what these components cost. I guarantee you in a year, it will be a $3000 collector's item.
This was done as a cost cutting measure. Look at all the cry babies here complaining about the cost as it is. If it was larger it would cost even more.
