Folks, we are located in Oakland, CA.
FYI, folks, here are all the basic tools we use and recommend on Amazon's website.

Here’s how to mix in these, • Stucco mixing ratios s...
Learn to do minor maintenance or repair ball bearings in a stucco mixer.
Whether your stucco mortar mixer is a MultiQuip or Whiteman.
    They are similar to repair.
I have always preferred Essick mixers with Honda engines, which are incredibly reliable.
In fact, my current mixer is an older Essick with a steel drum.
The mixer in this video has a lightweight polyurethane drum and is hydraulic, the Cadillac of mixers.
Or, these days, we’d say it’s the Tesla of mixers.
How many have I owned? About 5 in the 40 years since I have been in business; some were fully hydraulic with polyurethane drums with the simple pulling of a switch, they dumped or set back up by themselves.
This video won’t help anyone learn how to apply any stucco.
But it will help those who have to redo the bearings, coupling replacements, or other parts that give way on our (Multiquip) MQ-, (Whiteman) WM- 120 mixers by the usual wear and tear.
It’s a real drag to fix these yourself. So again, I would recommend Bay Equipment in Fremont, ca.
    Their number is 510 226-8800.
They sell and repair these mixers, plastering pumps, and more.

Howdy Duane, no worries, it's kinda complicated, but the sheer-pins are necessary for all stucco contractors or Hod-carriers to know about. 😉

Howdy Dusty, my baby Jacqui, was actually holding that cup of tea for me, I need a big cup when I’m working on mixers, as it’s boring work and a bit of a drag.
If I bring it to a shop I have to wait forever most times if I do it myself it’s mighty boring, but it’s ready when I need it. Most times anyways.
Best wishes, and have a good evening!

Hey homebrew, I don’t enjoy working on mixers or removing stucco from walls. But sometimes you got to take the bad with the good. And besides lots of times I want to know it’s done right.
    Have a great evening.

Good evening, if you're going to buy a plastering mixer, buy one that is as new as possible, new they sell for about 3,500 dollars, I find almost new ones for about 1,500 dollars, Craigslist is your best bet and be prepared to drive sometimes for an hour for a great deal.😉 Note: to all subscribers or anyone who stumbles on our channel with a question, type it into our Stucco/Plastering channel,

What V-belt size does the mixer use ? Is it a standard size for all mixers ? I have one just like yours

Is this the just about the same on all of them? I got a 655pm stone that showed up at my place to get fixed the bearing are just about completely gone to the point that the shaft is riding the drum I hope when I get it apart the shaft has not been worn to bad.

Howdy new generation Dude, I have found some are o.k. and some needed all new bearing , it socks, maintenance is the key. Easy to say damned difficult to do.
By the way, I have lost three wheels from pulling mixers, Once I was on the freeway and saw a tire with rim pass me, then I heard the crash, good thing traffic was heavy and I was in the slow lane.
I pulled over found the sheared off rim and tire, called a tow truck and got the beast home,
I now grease my wheel bearing often now and have self greasing wheel caps too.
Cheers, kick back relax and enjoy the superbowl.

The one that showed up for me to work on I have found out they have never greased it smh every bearing from the wheels up are shot I'm waiting on them to call me back so I can see what they want todo the bearing that's the worse are the ones that on the drum the shaft is literally riding the drum there is no bearings they are completely gone and I don't even know where to buy one I found the bearings they are $100 each. I personally think it would be best off if they buy a new one. Because the parts and labor alone is going to run easy run up to $1,000

Do you know where I can find all 4 bearing for the drum and the 2 bearings that run the gears that turn the Output shaft? I need all of them unfortunately.

My shear pin keeps snapping of even when wet mud should I just sell it and buy a new one

    • @StuccoPlastering
      @StuccoPlastering  3 ปีที่แล้ว

Good evening Jose, it sounds to me like you need to take the front cap off that holds the grees for the shaft and grease it plus the other rear shaft there are 4 grease fitting that more than likely need a full tube of grease.
I grease mine when it's running as it distributes the grease well.😉
No grease broken shear pins, it like you plastering all day with no food. Grease um.
Let me know if that works

I will say this not to discourage you, it's a bit of a drag to do.
