    Good stuff and thanks for the shout out It felt good hearing it, was a surprise. Keep dropping videos, I have another question , can the yolo box record footage from multiple cameras separately without going love for post production editing?

    • @THEAVERAGEGUY1983
      @THEAVERAGEGUY1983  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey glad to hear from you again! 😊 as for the yolobox pro being able to record footage from multiple cameras, separately, i dont think it can do that. You can do things like split screen where you can display two cameras at thw same time side by side like a picture in picture but thats about it. Usually i would have to hit the record button on my cameras in order to have those videos and edit them separately on my editing software which i use wondershare filmora 11.

      @Logics Str888 Yes, sir! The only thing you won't be able to see from the direct camera footage is anything the yolobox pro can do like the green screen effects, layouts, etc. But if you dont mind adding your own layouts and text or green screen image via editing software, then the sky is the limit. 😎👌

    Hey bro. Love your work man. I’m starting up my TH-cam channel. I have my computer, camera, and rode caster pro 2. What software do I need to record in, edit in, and distribute my content out?

    • @THEAVERAGEGUY1983
      @THEAVERAGEGUY1983  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, and thank you for the kind words. It really depends on what you are planning on doing. For example if you are planning on doing livestreams via a PC i would go with OBS ive used it twice as a test and works pretty well and you can go upto 4K 60fps of your PC hardware can handle it. For editing, this may not be the best software but ive been using it since i started my channel and its called wondershare Filmora. I have Filmora 11 but they now have version 12. That can do upto 4K 60fps with a bitrate of 150Mbps and plays back smoothly as long as your camera doesnt push more than 150Mbps, if you push 200Mbps like i do, you would have to Render/ process the videos first so the PC doesnt choke at the 200Mbps and then re edit those videos with zero frame drop or skipping. Hope that helps.

    Here is a example of what a lower bitrate looks like with a few things like a layout and green screen background, music on via the SD card, which also depends on the speed of the SD card thats in your device which i failed to mention that i use a Sony Tough 32GB card which is very fast and reliable but expensive. The CPU on the Yolobox pro is being pushed to its limits here, however Regardless of the small negatives, this is a wonderful device and for its price, which doesnt require a PC other then a better audio source, this cant be beat for what it can do price wise.

    Still wondering can i use these to run a 4 guest 4 mics live stream on instagram?

    • @THEAVERAGEGUY1983
      @THEAVERAGEGUY1983  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is definitely possible! All you have to do if your ok with this and depending on the devide you are using is to set your monitor outputs to (Fixed Audio) thats if you are not using them with external powered speakers and then connect your main Monitor outputs using the cables i mentioned in the video to your device that you will be using for streaming to Instagram and you should be good to go. Just remember to pre test your audio to make sure that your audio sound clear and distortion free. It usually will and if it does happen to have a bit of distortion you can adjust the mic slider control to lower the gain on the mic channels 😊🙏 please let me know if this works for you and if you need anymore help please do not hesitate to ask.

    Can you connect the rodecastwr audio into the yolo ?

    • @THEAVERAGEGUY1983
      @THEAVERAGEGUY1983  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Absolutely, you can do it three ways. 1. You can connect the RCPII or Duo via USB C port 2 to the USB C on the Yolobox pro next to the headphone jack for audio but if you want to show video clips from the Yolobox pro, it will give you an error telling you that Audio Mix Minus is not available and you wont be able to play the video or hear the audio clip of it. But the audio does sound cleaner from USB C.
      2. Connect one of the headphone ports from the RCPII to the (Line Input) of the Yolobox pro and adjust the audio from that headphone volume so that it sounds strong but not clip the signal.
      3. Incase you have 4 people with you on a podcast or something like that, but you are not using the main monitor outputs, you can get a left and right 1/4" jack to 3.5mm headphone jack port and connect that to the monitor outputs of the RCPII and the 3.5mm jack to the Line Input of the Yolobox pro and you can leave your monitor outputs at balanced from the RCPII and adjust the audio from the yolobox pro Line Input before you start livestreaming. Just know that there is a delay on the audio of the yolobox Pro, so i would recommend you fully depend on your audio monitoring from the RCP2 or Duo vs. the yolobox Pro. I hope this helps. 🙏

  • @STRONGPEEPS1
    @STRONGPEEPS1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hey I have question if you are using the yolobox pro and the rode caster pro 2 and you have it connected to line 1 for the audio when you play a video does the audio play thru the rode caster 2 when you are live streaming

    • @THEAVERAGEGUY1983
      @THEAVERAGEGUY1983  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is an excellent question! Because the Rodecaster Pro II is using the Line input for audio from the microphone it will unfortunately not come out of the Rodecaster as the yolobox pro still does not support USB Type C Mixed Audio where it can receive amd send audio at the same time. So when you play a video clip via livestream you have to make sure to havr the audio on for the video in the Yolobox pro but to hear it you will have to have some headphones on the Yolobox pro. I would have to test this my self to see if maybe i will be able to route an in and out signal from the the RCP2 and the Yolobox Pro through the headphones output of the yolobox pro to one if the Mic inputs and then have the main line output into the yolobox pro Line Input and see if i can hear everything. But this can be a double echo type audio without a proper mix minus. Perhaps i can also check with Yololiv to see if they can implement that because having and in and out audio out of the USB C would be much better than mix routing all kinds of cables together just to get audio from both devices during a livestream. I apologize if my answer doesnt make sense l, i got the routing of the wiring in my head but wondering if that would work or not lol

      S.p-ViSioN FiLm Tv hi! I just wanted to get back to you on my testing that i did with the Yolobox pro and Rodecaster Pro II, so before i set up my camera gear to make a video i wanted to talk to you about what i found out.
      1. The Rodecaster Pro II works with the Yolobox pro for Audio Input only via USB Type C. To do this you would just need to use the supplied thick Rode branded cable that came with the RCP2 from (USB Type C 1) which usually connects to a computer to the USB C input of the yolobox pro. From there you can set your gain level to -1.4DB under the USB Audio from the yolobox otherwise you will hear Clicking sounds from signal of the Rodecaster being too strong/loud under its (Fixed Audio) for usb C that is not adjustable via the RCP2 menu unless i lower down thw sliders for the inputs.
      2. When using USB C audio, the yolobox pro does NOT let you play any videos from the SD card until you turn off the audio from the SD card source. But then you won't be able to hear the video even through the livestream, which sucks. I got a "Sorry, Audio Mixing Is Not Supported For USB-A/Type-C Port Currently."
      3. There is a slight work around with cable routing using a 1/4" left and right to single 3.5mm jack cable which you would connect to the RCP2 through the (Monitor Outputs) but set the volume control to (Fixed) otherwise if you have thw sliders up, the outputs will MUTE on you until you drop the faders down. From there, you would plug the 3.5mm cable to the (Line-In) of the yolobox pro and set your gain on your line input to +3.0Db to get a good signal out to your livestream.
      The second routed cable will be from the Headphone jack of the yolobox pro to one of the inputs of the RCP2 and mute your mic volume if you want to hear the audio come out of the RCP2 and go back into the Yolobox Pro but thats where things went bad for me. Because the yolobox does NOT yet support Mix Minus Audio Mixing, you can hear the audio of the video clip doubling and echoing aggressively and the same goea if you decide to speak into your microphone. It will be a never-ending feedback screech until you mute the microphone or unplug the cabling.
      I did try to reach out to Frank Zhu, but the dude hasnt responded back, and i honestly doubt him ever replying back. I even left a question today on Yololiv's latest video and within minutes of me posting it, it was deleted! I dont know if it was the Yololiv rep that controls the channel who deleted my comment not understanding it or if it was youtube making its rounds for comments that sound like hate but i said nothing negative and only asked a question about mix minus audio being possible for the Yolobox Pro via USB C.
      I did I try the USB A input and that didnt work at all no matter what cable cable i used under USB a to C. It didnt work either. Only my wireless keyboard and usb video work on USB-A.
      Anyways thats pretty much what happened. Im not sure if you still want me to publish a video as im not even sure how many people will even watch it. The viewer count has been really low and quite discouraging. Well, give me some feedback once you finish reading everything. Thanks for giving me this idea to tinker with the yolobox pro, i would have never thought of that. It seems a PC is still superior when it comes to features. Portability wise though, ill still give it to yolobox. 🤓👍
