That was to be the first question, why is there a Korg SQ1 on your desk... This unit could attract interest not just as a Eurorack module but maybe also as a standalone box, especially if they can incorporate an SQ1 type CV sequencer into it. You could then use it for all manner of things, such as sequencing a Model D and adding effects to the result. A MIDI out would let you record the sequence data to a DAW?

@@Roderick_Legato Yeah no worries, I use the SQ1 a lot on pure VCO gear with no decent MIDI implementation, usually for stepping the filter cutoff. On the new VCO gear they could put a CV sequencer on it, keeping it VCO but giving some control of the parameters. An SQ1 costs about £80, so it wouldn't cost too much, all the best and cheers :)

The SQ1 is a standalone box. Its CV outputs can be connected to anything that takes a CV input.
