  • In this ground-breaking TV documentary series, Filipino Architect and Heritage Conservation Advocate Augusto "Toti" Villalon travels to the Philippines' most significant historical sites to re-tell the country's unique and colorful history through its "National Treasures" -- important structures and objects -- which make-up the Philippines' rich culture and heritage.
The series is a follow-up to the landmark documentary, "LEGACY: Philippine World Heritage Sites."
In the first episode, Villalon examines the Philippines' pre-colonial history, while interviewing some of the country's leading archaeologists and history scholars.
"National Treasures" is a production of the Eggie Apostol Foundation (formerly the Foundation for Worldwide People Power), in cooperation with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).
Award-winning documentary filmmaker Butch Nolasco, who also directed "Legacy," heads the production of the series.

Thanks, Mae Ann. We're actually in production for Episodes # 2-4, which focuses on the Spanish and American colonial periods, and The Heritage Conservation Movement. They'll initially be aired on the Living Asia Channel:)

Does anyone know how historians name the items they discover?
