Mod works great! But I think I messed up sealing the part the leds go into, or maybe somehow the very very small interface in it is causing miss fires. Normally with these guns they’ll miss fire occasionally. Now mine does it way more. Should I take it back apart and see if I didn’t glue it enough? Any suggestions would be awesome
Make sure LED doesn't stick too far into the inner diameter of the feed tube. There's no sealing requirements in the feed area of the t-piece. Misfires are usually caused by the tappet plate being bent. Check my gearbox upgrade video, I show how the tappet is bent and how to bend it back straight.
Hey man I really wanna do this but got a question, for the LEDs there are diffrent colors could I get pink and it makes the balls pink? And can I use the plain see through white orbeez or do i need the glow in dark ones?
is the 7-8 mm gel balls the same as the 7.5 splatrball gel balls .. because I dont want to buy then and the 7-8 mm gel balls to big or bigger then the ones that come with my gun
How does this mod affect the battery life and if it dosent affect it alot can I run both the internal mod and the led mod for the mag at the same time?
You won't notice a change in battery life. The current draw of the LEDs is negligible compared to the motors. A lot of blasters even come with decorative LEDs. Yes, you can run both tracer mods at the same time.

Yes, one resistor for each LED. 1-2 LEDs is enough.

LED color won't change the gel ball color. All glow gels I've seen so far are green. UV LEDs like the link in description provide the strongest glow.

Yes 7-8mm is the same. Splatrball ammo is low quality. Most ammo will be just as good.
