I grew up in Inwood, the granddaughter of Irish immigrants who moved to Inwood in 1940. Same issues in Inwood as the Heights and the same mofos responsible for it. My husband is from the Heights and he can’t stomach going back.

They moved into the Fordham area and Concourse area and a lot of the current crime is committed by Dominicans. They’re now moving into the Pelham Parkway/Lydig area and causing havoc. My sister lives in Yonkers, west of Central Ave and one moved in across the street. He had to be told numerous times about the music. He even had family members blasting music from speakers in the middle of the street. I believe that was the last incident but he was spoken to numerous times about it. Move in,be quiet and stay that way. There’s just zero consideration from that bunch. They move in and destroy it.
it's a fun place for happy people, they love to play music and dance outside from day to night to morning. the women all dress the same: kids, teens, grown women and mothers and grandmothers in bright spandex
