You draw a rough center line along the two axis, mark the center point, Set caliper to 6.00, place caliper at the center point and draw the extreme points both sides. No need to measure extremes and divide by two to draw the center point. Regards.
I don't do any sort of wood working or anything of the sort, but really liked your video and your presentation. Not my cup of tea but great work! Hope it can reach someone who can put the knowledge to use!

I am terrified of being on camera ( Even though I appreciate I was not in this video...) and it is a constant battle to try and do the narration / voice overs without sounding too nervous. Its really great to get feedback like this as it shows I am moving in the right direction. Thank you for taking the time to comment :)
Yeah it just seemed like a good idea. I made a more standard one with dowel pegs, but I found that it kept snagging on rough sawn wood. The bearings to not completely get rid of the problem, but they certainly make it better. And on planed stock it runs along as smooth as butter :) Have you got a new video coming out soon?
