- In this episode, Laura travels to Ballarat to pick up the caravan after its service and head into the bush for a solo camping trip. Towing the 3.5 tonne caravan on her own and navigating the narrow dirt roads adds to the adventure of this discovery. Troy stays back on the farm and starts the process of building our new deck to be ready in time for our Engagement Party.

Some decent mirrors will make a huge difference to someone who can’t manoeuvre a caravan , clearview are a great unit . Deck looks awesome. 👍

are you kidding me all these years of driving and ive just learnt where the petrol cap goes when fueling up 🤣 and hes a lucky man ,i cant get my wife to tow at all ,but doesnt bother me to much we only ever travel for 2hours or so at a time ,nice vid guys

Hear too many horror stories about caravan warranty repairs.
Friend of mines parents bought their retirement caravan set it all up to travel and needed to get some minor warranty repairs. When they picked it up the curtains they had fitted to every window had somehow disappeared the repairer said there wasn’t any curtains in that model van hahaha

I share the towing with partner and get the similar comments when I tow as well. We are all quite capable of towing. Think about it folks, if your don't tow the van and your partner falls ill or worse you will be stranded!

It's a real problem these days, not getting good service. It's not that hard to clean up. I hope you'll have a better experience next time. You get the caravan serviced somewhere else. Keep up the good work.

Hi Laura and Troy, Awesome video as always. Oh wow, the shape of your camper that's awful, then the shower, what were they doing 😳 I hope you let them have it. And they fix everything they've done. Because that's not even right.
It's a shame you gotta watch where you camp also just because you have something newer. I'm happy you finally got to go camping cool dinosaur 🦕 hehehe. Troy's making a lot of progress with the deck looking good. I can't wait to see what it looks like completely finished.

Oh we know, we couldn’t believe the state of the van! I decided not to let them know because I don’t want to deal with them anymore. They don’t provide customer service. It was good to getaway and Troy has done an amazing job on the decking. We will reveal all overtime. Now we’re off to make more videos! Have a great week Susan.

not a good look for ballarat city caravans ,chauvinistic and not cleaning up after a job. Creswick regional park is very nice but your right a few shady camp dwellers
