- In this episode we take you to the beautiful State Forest around Strathbogie. With so much going for it, there is something for everyone: free, dogs, fires, hunting, creek, hiking, forest. What a peaceful little spot this was.

I noticed when driving at night your right spot light seem to pointing a bit low as you can see the hot spot .

Hi Paul, We haven't done that as yet. Although in saying that, the heater warms up very quickly and probably wouldn't need to. 🍻 👍
Wait till you make another run to Ceduna!! Just done a quick 3 week Per-Mel-Per run and the OTR in Ceduna was nearly 2 bucks a litre. On the Nullabor it was up to $2.70 grrrrr. Found a little ma/pa servo in Sunbury at $1.73 😂

Love every episode. Coco is like having an extra child - in, out, in, out come on mum🤣🤣. What sort of a drone do you use? Would you recommend it, or have you maybe seen a better one? Look forward to more episodes.
Hi Kerri, she's definitely like a human 😄. We use a Mavic Air 2s. Works really well for what we do. We've never had any problems with it. There's a lot of choices it's all depending on your budget and what you will be using it for.

Another great video guys. May I ask what your solar is now and how much you are wanting to add? Seems to be so much BS around this topic on the net, some of which makes absolutely no sense so would be greatly interested in learning from your experiences.
Hi Terry, Thanks for watching and commenting 😊. We have 680watt of solar atm and will put an extra 340watt for a total 1020 watt to service 340ah lithium battery. ln hindsight, we should've ordered the extra panels whilst our van was getting built. solar is your best friend rather than getting bigger or more batteries 🍻
@@JourneyUnknown many thanks for your response. May I ask if you are able to run the AC off the 340ah batteries or does it soak too much power. My wife (the one that after 20 years still cannot back the boat) has half a degree of temperature difference between between being ok and "its hot" and "its cold" so the AC will be a marriage saver, hence the question. Looking at your vids I am sold on a Great Aussie Caravan to be honest. I see you have had some issues but they all seem to be minor. The slider door at the rear was average I must admit but very easily fixed. Looks like you have had a very good run with this van.
That's ok 👍. We usually run the AC during the day when we have solar coming in and have no issues at all 😀

Hey David, 💯.. We've camped at World's End a few years ago, unfortunately there was no water in the creek. but yes, it looks familiar.
@@JourneyUnknown had water in it then a world's end we got heaps of yabbies and the metal detector was going nuts and it was only a cheap realistic one we had running up the walls in the old dug out it was beeping like crazy
Is it good for hunting there? What kind of hunting is there where you are? Get anything?
We came across a few stags and didn't take a shot. The terrain looks great for Sambar and fellow 🦌.

That's ok. Yes, it's a state forest. if you have a hunting permit, you can hunt there.
