- It's been 6 months since we've been monetised on TH-cam so we can now share what we've earnt each month to help other upcoming TH-camrs. We also share what our plans are for 2023 now with the Engagement and Wedding ahead.

You guys are genuine and realistic with your videos. I hope you keep them like th 19:49 at. Especially when you film your stuff ups and calling out when manufactures shoddy workmanship.
Most caravanas videos now are all marketing or advert sponsored and lack true criticism of a product.

just wanted to say how much I personally enjoy your channel. Its so nice seeing "real" people with the highs and lows of camping and life in general. Looking at getting our 1st van and as this is new to us, still trying to work out what is what and its so comforting watching your videos without the BS. Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding, and I hope you dont mind me saying this.........Troy, she is a keeper mate, not only good on the eye but she can back a trailer, a quality in a woman that is so hard to find. I have had 20 years with my wife going out fishing and I keep telling her if I can find a lady that could back the boat, life may change. All jokes aside, just wanted to say your efforts in posting content are enjoyed. very difficult to find real people on here that dont have hidden agendas, so thank you.

Thanks for sharing the info on what boxes you have to tick for You Tube. It’s quite interesting. I love following people to get ideas of places and camp grounds and when we start travelling my husband wants to do it, but I don’t think I can be bothered with the time it takes which I know is extensive sometimes!

I actually said to my husband how good is it that she is towing on her own… then you said that the boys in the service centre were giving you a bit of shit… tell them to get stuffed next time (that’s if you go back there after the way they treated your van!) 😅

14yrs between my husband and I 😅. Rest his soul.
He had 3 kids and I raised 2 of them.
We had 4 kids together, a boy and triplet girls.
A hard journey to Adelaide to see our granddaughter he never got to meet as gone before she came.😢
Will be here another couple of months 😊.

My wife and i have done that same holiday, a week in Hawai and the 18 night cruise back, you will love it. Laura i get seasick just looking at water lol and i only felt sick on the last day or two across the rough section approaching Australia. We had dead calm actual oiled off ocean across the equator, it was so cool!

So with all the details about your engagement, how come Troy is already wearing a wedding ring? He's jumping the gun a bit isn't he? lol I'm sure your trip will be good when the time gets here. It's not easy working fulltime and planning a big trip, then actually going away to do the big trip. So much to organise.
Haha, it's actually my engagement ring/wedding ring. Saves searching for a ring when we're full time on the road. 😃. Yep 💯 juggling work and planning takes a bit of organising. It will be well worth the effort 👌

I'll be interested in see the build of 300 and weights I'm already looking at a GVM and CVM upgrade for 300 as i can see us towing a 20.6 offroad van with out it
Ours is off on Monday to ARB for a 3 day fit out
Hi Pat, sounds amazing. we can't wait to start our trip. Yep, we've also received some quotes on a GVM and GCM upgrade. l think it's the only way to go, especially for towing.
@@JourneyUnknown we are looking at lovells upgrades GVM and CVM for 300 we are head down to Melbourne pick up ours on 22 April stay in Victoria for about a week to test everything out then returning to Sydney and trying to take off in September heading South doing the lep over 18 months to 2 years if all go's well thanks for your reply hope the channel keeps growing

@@JourneyUnknown sorry it should of been GVM and GCM Lovells have a GVM 3560 GCM 7060 now I believe around August they will have a GVM 4200 GCM 7700 upgrade (i believe that it can be approved post registration) so we are waiting to pick the vans in Campbellfield and weigh the combination GCM so we know where we stand with weights. We would like to be able to take a small boat on the car roof.
Thank you we would love some help in finding places to stay as we (two vans × 2 couples) want to take our vans on 6-7 day shake down and return to Campbellfield for our ATX suspension checked.

❤ your video's guys. Down to earth with honesty and integrity. Keep your identity and style. Don't change. You are in my top 5 channels that I follow with similar content. Like you guys say there are TH-camrs you watch for the destination but don't particularly like. Some of these TH-camrs have become arrogant and all after free items and goods. I am fine with that , but some of these items don't reflect the type genre of their TH-cam channel. Keep up the good work guys. Love to catch up sometime around this great big island.

Hey guys, love the videos. In relation to TH-cam money being taxable, does that mean that all of your costs when travelling are tax deductible? Does any of this need to be pro rated for private portion at all?
Hey Luke, nah, not necessarily. We declare what we make and pay tax on that portion, although until it is an official business then you can claim deductions or depreciation.
Do you get paid for people watching older videos like me watching this video today?
Hi Peter, Yes, if people watch our older content, we get paid. It comes down to if the advertising gets watched whilst watching your episodes.
