The point of safety pins is that they're, well, safe to pin, so you don't have to worry about it opening up, but if you fear your gonna put too much tension on it (like using it on clothes or things like that), instead of gluing it you can also just clamp the little lid part really hard with your pliers, to prevent the pointy part from sliding away, imo it looks less obvious/cleaner than hot gluing it

i totally get what you mean about the religious aesthetic! catholic, in general, is honestly really macabre if you dig deeper into the lore, on top of the old gothic architecture and stainglass windows, it's really perfect for a sort of fallen angel type of energy. your rosaries are so pretty :')

Ok so, the main thing that encouraged me is. I'm vision impaired, I need glasses to see because I can't see Anything beyond my hand reach. And I love to wear accessories on myself, mainly necklaces and I used to love to wear earrings too. But I felt I can't wear too many accessories because they would clash with my glasses on my face, I'd look too convoluted or messy. I never had the confidence. Until lately I saw someone who wore both glasses and earrings and necklaces. And now YOU. And I feel it's not so bad actually. You look so amazing with all of them on. I also love Love gothic spooky themes, I'm born on Halloween night, no joking. I adore all Halloween theme and horror and spooky themes. But sometimes I'd feel for kawaii pastel themes and silly cartoon feels as well. So, you legit Inspired me. To be just 'be myself'. And ofc I love to craft also. This means so much to me. All I can say is well, thank you. From my heart.

A fun way to make some fake blood is Dawn dishsoap with the foodcoloring, it has a nice consistency and doesn't dry up as fast and easy to clean up if something breaks

i have possum vertebrae earrings just like that that I made almost a year ago!! only difference is that I put some green crystal beads on the wire. i get lots of compliments on them, they are probably my favorite earrings. I even made them in a very similar way too, its so cool to see someone else who had the same idea!!!

Hmm I think with piercings everyone is going to be a bit different and it will depend on your lip structure, I’d consult a professional piercer if you’re very concerned - however I am happy to report I have had no gum damage from my labret! I did chip my two front teeth on it a tad (there’s a small chip in the centre where my teeth touch) but that’s because I play with it constantly 😅 I think as long as you don’t play with it you’re probably safe, and also I have heard you can buy arcrylic piercings which cause way less damage than metal (I have heard this but not tried!) good luck ❤️ I also would reccomend PiercingsWithScott on TH-cam for some more info :-) th-cam.com/video/MFHuUaOvKr8/w-d-xo.html

Love these! Ive bought those thrift bags and taken some jewelry apart to make others. You can find the goodwill auction online but the shipping is very expensive usually and jewelry goes fast usually.
Some dollar stores sell beads and jars and now glassess chains which can be fun to use.

Try corn syrup instead of corn starch. It makes the consistency thicker and more realistic.

Corn syrup is what is actually used as blood by makeup artist on movie sets.
Ive been an extra on a few big budget movies and its what was used on Queen of the dammed.. yep i was there and im that old. Lol
Ive found that using food coloring in the kids sensory glitter jars, it will fade so using it in a blood vile would not have any longevity... go the corn syrup and you can water it down with hot water to your liking and your good to go as its thick and even used as congealed or dry blood in movies , pro vampire movie special effects department tip 🖤

I’m glad you changed the number of beads on the rosaries, I was brought up catholic and it’s stupid but it feels weird that people are wearing beads that are for praying. Keep in mind, goth isn't just a style it's about the music. That's what makes the subculture not the clothing and the spookyness.. That's just an addition to goth.

However this is a tutorial video trying to share another aspect of the subculture close to my heart which is DIY:-) unfortunately TH-cam is not the most conducive platform for talking about music as TH-cam is highly visual :-) just because someone shares a DIY doesn’t mean they don’t know or care about other aspects of alternative subcultures ❤️

But for buying/selling Etsy might be your best bet ! Unless you spend a lot of time in local eco systems (or around roadkill) and get lucky to just find things that you can clean (lots of tutorials online but my fav method is leaving the piece at an ant hill and coming back in a few weeks once the soft tissue is mostly gone)

Most of them are either from broken thrifted jewellery, or from my brothers old warhammer diy projects , I think you should be able to find chain either at craft stores , hardware stores, thrift stores (as jewellery to dismantle) or online :-)
