Hi! I recently got into jewelry making and the thought of buying/thrifting old jewelry for their beads hadn't even crossed my mind!! I just felt kinda obligated to buy beads from stores lol. Thank you for this video!!

hi! this was so wonderful…I got into jewelry making a few years ago and have loved it ever since. I had the idea to thrift a little bit ago and it CHANGED THE GAME! it makes jewelry so much more unique-you are able to make one of a kind pieces made of all sorts of recycled pieces. I called them my little frankenstein necklaces (frankenecklace) :) I loved this video so much! keep doing what you’re doing, these are beautiful :)

I used to volunteer at a thrift shop and the amount of jewelry I managed to salvage from being thrown out was beautiful
Sadly I wasn’t that skilled at repurposing stuff then but this video has revived my urge to go and make jewelry!! I only wish I had that volunteering job still :')

That's so great not only were u able to stop them from throwing out and wasting them but you were able to use the beads to make jewellery you would wear . I wish you the best of luck in make your jewellery

hey I would actually recommend 20 to 24 gauge wire, it’s so prefect and flexible, that is what I use for my necklaces :)
