Love these kind of tutorials. Simple, hacky, little talk, straight to the point. It's amazing what you can do with a bit more understanding of Blender.
No one really talk about daily render and easy but brilliant techniques like you. You are an amazing artist with a lot of knowledge. Your number game on TH-cam proves it. I am really glad to find your channel!!!!
I hardly use blender but these techniques are mad dude, always so efficient and straight to the point, easy enough to translate to maya and then into UE. thanks for the uploads!
Kit bashing was used in Bladerunner for the city. In the commentary track Ridley talked about how they used the Millennium Falcon with a bunch of other things attached to hide the silhouette.
Every time you uploaded a new video, it's feels like you can read my mind, I have been wondering this low poly technique for so long, bcz of you now I knows, Thankyou max!! 🥂
Awesome Video as always man! I would love a video on how you make your geometric shapes/emission texture setup for centerpiece lighting. That glitchy effect is so cool
Thank you for making these, I've been a long time fan working on my own project and I would always see your stuff on artstation and wonder how you made it, these videos are awesome!
Very nice trick👍 When i was working on my cyberpunk theme graduation project, i had the similar idea of using photos in emission channel, but the result wasn't satisfying. Wish i could see this video back then.
your Blender tutorials are something else man 🙏🏻!! You deserve so many more followers. BTw I see you’ve got your own 3d models loaded in the asset browser, it’d be amazing if you could make a quick tutorial on how to do that?
What if I can't get the image to show up in the bottom left section without dragging it in and when it's' in, I can't get the boxes to appear on it. In edit mode early in the video.
Here in 2024 using blender 4.2, when you hooked up the image to the emission node, where is that now? only options available under 'emission' now are color and strength
That was exactly what I was looking for! Thanks a lot and awesome scene! Maybe you could guide us through your compositing/post-processing process as well (pretty pleeeease) ;)
I know this video is a little old, but i've got a question, the black in between the windows of the PNG I'm using turns grey instead of staying black anytime I plug it into the emisssion, any idea how to fix it?
Hi, first, thank you for your videos, they are amazing. I have a question regarding your interface: how do you project the real toime render on the bottom right side? i can t fugure. thank you!!!
Do you have tips on how to create post apocalyptic cities like the ones in The Last of Us and Nier Automata? Amazing tutorial by the way, very explanatory and clear! I hope you share with us how you create one of your projects from scratch to the final render.
Where did you found this photo? is it free to use image (CC0, CC-BY) or random pic from search?
Forgot to mention this, always use CC0 images from unsplash, pexels or pixabay. I went over it in my last tutorial on skies 👍
