it has to be thermostat but make sure u burp the system bc if u dont burp it then it will overheat after a few days, i had same problem on my old 5.7

Thanks it definitely was air, been driving it everyday in 100 degree weather in Maryland and car stays at 233 degrees no hotter. Runs perfect
