      It's a proven fact that if you smoke, breath in welding fumes, aluminum dust and sand dust while sand blasting that you'll live much longer.

    By mass some 18650 cells have better output.
    Sony:
    Vtc6 18650 30A 3.0AH 47.6g
    Vtc6A 21700 40A 4.1AH 72.9g
    21700 are still behind 18650.
    Form factor is the reason for the change. A 21700 makes a larger footprint and decreased height.

    • @reahs4815
      @reahs4815 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It heavily depends on the manufacturer and what that cell was designed for

    For Pro Tool Reviews:
    Since the battery comparison shown pits the smaller cell battery against the larger cell battery, the batteries are rated about 108 watt hours and 113 watt hours since watts is a measure of power output and is the simple product of amps times volts. Since it is DC there is no power factor involved as in AC power. To get 800 watts from the 18650 cell battery at rated 108 watt hours, it would have to provide 6 amps at 18 volts for 7.4 hours. The larger 21700 cell unit would have to produce 6.3 amps at 18 volts for 12.8 hours to get 1440 watts delivered. Do these batteries last that long or are the manufacturers inflating the total power output like they do the horsepower on power tool motors where they use inrush current instead of rated current?

    And now we see a 5A 21700 from Liitokala (model Lii-50E), on Aliexpress for as little as $4 each, and some vloggers have tested and confirmed that they are at least 5A, and some more than that.

    How things change!
    Both in batteries AND in how we react to guy with a cigarette in his mouth, regardless of the fact that he is cutting concrete with a dry blade.

    • @Mr539forgotten
      @Mr539forgotten 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Slow down there buddy. Wet blades are only for dust suppression. I mean, you can cut wet or dry with a dry blade, you only NEED water if you're cutting with a wet blade.
      Case in point, dust suppression is a redundant measure when you're huffing on cancer sticks.

  • @joer9150
    @joer9150 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    The correct formula for the area of a circle is pi(RADIUS-squared) not pi(diameter-squared). Luckily since you were consistent using the incorrect formula for both battery cell sizes, the differences are correct as stated. Thanks.

    • @boots7859
      @boots7859 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Joe, you are right and wrong at the same time.
      We are looking at Volume, which is V= pi x r^2 x h.
      Correct in that for both they should have the radius and not diameter, and also that the % result is correct as both were calculated the same.

    Look for BioSolar to deliver the next level of 21700 battery efficiency - along with 300 charge cycles with no appreciable power loss!

    • @RWBHere
      @RWBHere 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Only 300? That's pretty poor these days. Tesla cells manage way more than 1,000 cycles, and LiFePo4 cells are good for at least 3,000 cycles.

    • @DietrichSchindler
      @DietrichSchindler 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RWBHere BioSolar's batteries go way beyond the 300 cycles! What I was trying to communicate is that there is no appreciable loss in battery power after those cycles. Everything that is out there loses 20% of it's battery life after 300 cycles. AND with BioSolar's lithium silicon batteries they are unique in that there are no over-heating issues or change in the cell structure. BSRC is truly a novum!
