Would it be okay if bulb is cleaned with alcohol after handling? Can't see how glass is permanently contaminated. I do remember in Jr High, the instruction were explicit,; "Never touch glass on the projector bulb when changing."

Nice video, but you should never touch a halogen bulb with your bare skin. It is likely to affect performance/lifetime and may lead to early failure.
