I’m on the fence with this one, it’s so close to a perfect replica…just three things I didn’t love, the exposed retention screws, the translucent emitter cap, and the inaccurate circuit board compared to the prop. If it had an emitter cap like the Book of Boba Fett saber and a closer to accurate reveal board it’d be perfect. Love the uneven rings, the blinking lights, the neck color, and the box. The intro was awesome, the part with you using the tool looked right out of the deleted scene! Great job Jon it was worth the wait!
Some of the proportions on the emitter and neck are a tad off and a little fat. The pommel cubs are a little tall and the control box rails are a little wide.

I've the VS Hero3 w/Xenopixel and UW Hero v1 and really like them, but both are more the burnt orange thin neck than the dull gold more like in the movie. They're not my favorites, because I much prefer Obi-Wan's ANH lightsaber.

It arrived in less than 2 weeks, even with weathering being done, rather than the 4-6 weeks expected delivery time. AMAZING. Trying to figure out the controls, so thank you for your little tutorial here for my reference. It could definitely use more clearer instructions, (with spell check - 'Fuctions' lol) for a noob like me. @vaderssabers

Cool scene. But if it was in return of the Jedi, then the big moment when R2-D2 shot Luke’s saber to him in the nick of time, would have been less dramatic.

Currently looking to purchase my first after tax season so I can finally have another saber in my hands after selling the other two due to job loss. Definitely either gonna be Vader ROTJ,Vader ANH or Anakin ROTS
I’m a bit disappointed with the sound font selection that came with mine. There’s only one Luke Skywalker font and it’s not even mark hamills voice. The same deleted cave scene ROTJ Luke saber from Vaders Sabers. They could’ve at least had the throne room scene font. Idk how to add fonts to this saber but if I find out then it’ll be much nicer
Yeah pretty much every sabers needs custom sound fonts if you want a very specific font. The manufacturer only have certain deals for a handful of sound fonts for the pack they load on to ever saber across the board. LGT Xeno v3 has there set sound font pack and same for TXQ and other manufacturers. The same sound pack goes in to each and every hilt weather it matches the character or not. I have had to swap out audio files on all my favorite sabers for the characters sound font.
Have you had the Luke TLJ saber in hand? I like the thinner profile and the OBW style emitter on that version of Luke's saber a lot... Not really a fan of Luke's sequels arc... But the movie prop is nicer, imo...

Not very deep, but seems fine to me. I don’t duel or really swing these things around all that often so it doesn’t matter to me. They end up just display pieces on the wall.

I was on board with that intro untill you put on the Mando helmet. That just felt awkward to reenact the deleted scene then out of no where you put on the helmet. But good production value. The saber seems to be of nice quality however all the proportions are off and the reveal board isn't accurate. But enjoy the saber.
Not sure what the Lightsaber Energy Matrix Dampener prop was made of, but what it basically used for is to 'Dampen' the 'Energy Matrix' to set the length of the Lightsaber blade. Fun fact, The trigger at the base of Count Dooku's lightsaber was used for the same thing.
The shape of the emitter looks off somehow… like the top flange is too thick or something? Otherwise looks really nice. I think TXQ is going to have a reveal version soon as well
Wow that was awesome John I loved the intro very epic and the lightsaber is very great, and on an off topic subject I finally watched Star wars visions there were some episodes that I liked and some I did not and I was disappointed that some of the episodes I think should have got a continuation didn't and I was really bummed that the episodes were so short and alot of them didn't make sense, did you like star wars visions?
Beautiful Lightsaber. I would have gotten that one if I waited a month to buy one. Instead of the one I got last month that I accidently messed up the inside wires to where it won't work right.
@@TheCollectorsOutpost Plastic cage inside the ROTJ Luke Xeno V3 came out when I tried to get the Xeno board out to charge it. The wires coating broke exposing them & wires got loose inside blocking the way of the contact for the power. I didn't know there was a second piece of plastic cage inside the hilt that the Xeno board goes into.
hmmmmmmmmmmm both very good but if i was to have only 1 version for my collection I think ROTJ hero weathered. I really love that version and i think it also comes in SNv4 if i remember right.
If they ever do an updated version of this, my only suggestion would be that they have the hidden retention screws underneath the emitter cap like the TXQ version…that would be perfect! GREAT video as always; really enjoy your reviews and the fun you have with them! (Also dig your Superman collection!)
