Not saying that totally dismisses some of these records, but it's clearly paywalled, and they'll accept just about any record you can think of. Badass or absolute shit, it's all the same to GWR, they're just here for the $.

my climbing gym just set up an amazing problem with a Wide Boys crack at the top. I AM LOVING IT (maybe because they set it up wide enough for me to actually jam my hand into it properly for a change :)
Agreed. And this was a great video. There are a lot of incredible (especially older) outdoor climbers out there that don’t like to mess around with records and competitions. It’s all about their next project outside. Pete’s the same way.

I'm very curious about the crack school, but I'm also wondering, if I do sign-up, how will I ever put it into practice, since it's really not common place in gyms or even outdoor around here (Lisbon, Portugal), that I know of. And of course, congrats on the records! Also, if you'd be up for sharing, I'm wondering if it's true you have to pay to get records validated, and how much two records break the bank, but I also understand if there's some paperwork that prevents you from disclosing :)
does that bar count as 'fixed' in a horizontal position if it's hanging from a rope? i feel like the subtle trapeze motion might be a slight advantage compared to a fixed pull-up bar, as the bar will adjust to changes in center of gravity.
