My grandparents always told me they gave them to someone else but one day I accidentally saw dead kittens in my neighbors garden and they explained it to me. I'm still trying to convince my grandparents to spray them, because everytime we come back it's hard seeing them and knowing that they would eventually be killed. I understand that my grandparents don't want more cats (as they have 7, just because wverytime we forse them to at least keep one), but it's still sad.

Nobody ever tried to drown any kittens, in fact the only animals that ever got killed there. Was one pig during the fall, it was where we got our meat for the winter. My dad and I also hunted deer and elk. My childhood wasn't too bad to be honest. I had chores just like an other kid, except my chores included feeding horses, cleaning stalls, chopping firewood. It sounds like your mother was just cruel, bitter, angry, hateful person. I have an aunt who's like that. There's not much she wouldn't do.
