The Supreme Could Be The Best Miraculous Villain Ever!

- I think a lot of fans tend to have a rollercoaster relationship with Miraculous. One minute it's got this amazing progression and story development, the next you want to rip your hair out with insane story choices. And nothing's really changed, but today I wanted to focus on one new piece of lore that I feel has so much potential and genuinely gets me excited for the minimal likelihood that we'll see future progression of. And that is The Supreme from the Miraculous World Special in Paris. Enjoy.
The Supreme is definitely going to be an evil/dark version of Master Fu. There really aren't many candidates other than him...

I have seen the theory , that it might be the Wizard who originally made the miraculous and in the Shadybugverse he took Gimmis power to have eternal youth and rules the world ever since.
What if the supreme are actually the people that were chasing master fu and his gf maybe the got caught they were running away from something

What if it's Hitler like Fu was captured by the Nazis in ww2 instead of being able to escape like in the main show
My headcannon is that in the alternate universe, alt Fu despised the Order for forcing him to be a guardian (same with our Fu). Then he intentionally used the peacock miraculous to kill all the guardians as revenge, unlike our Fu who did it on accident.
With the Guardians gone, alt Fu then used the miraculous to take over the world

we need season 6 and 7 to be about *all* of the current miraculous holders going to the corrupt world to defeat the Supreme. But they would have go through the evil miraculous holders that the Supreme entrusted to hold a miraculous before having a final showdown againts the Supreme. It would be cool to see Kagamis mom or maybe even mayor Andre holding a miraculous.

My assumption of the where the divergence in the timeline happened was that night with Feast, but instead, Master Fu just sticks through it and doesn't use the miraculous. That allows his hate to build and grow over time as he resents the Order for not only taking him away from his family but also forcing him into this life of servitude that he never asked for.
It makes sense that The Supreme would be Master Fu. I mean, Master Fu even had a tragic backstory that could have turned him into a villain. Also, I love the trope where a hero goes to an alternate universe where all the heroes are villains and all the villains are heroes. It's fun when the hero teams up with a good version of their nemesis.
My brain is just thinking of goofy butterfly hero names.

I like the idea of Fu being the Supreme and enjoy your thoughts on a potential backstory. Personally, I would put the divergent point even earlier than that. I'd like to think in the RE verse, Fu either successfully used a sentimonster without being discovered, or he used another Miraculous to get food. Either way, he cheated and did not get caught. He then soon learned to make more and more shortcuts as to progress in becoming a Guardian and then be in a position to watch over the Mother box. Su-han would discover his treachery too late and Fu would use the Miraculous to take over the Guardians and then the world.
I'd actually really like to learn more about his backstory and their Universe too

Also speaking of the New York special-, can we talk about how much of a jerk they are? I mean… they obviously knew about Paris situation but NEVER ONCE SENT ANY ASSISTANCE for ladybug and chat noir

Oh no I don't think so... Lila showed her true villain potential in season 5 and that girl is extremely dangerous (managing to hack Tomoe's technologies while Max couldn't and figuring out Gabe's identity by her own while Marinette couldn't, being extremely skilled at hiding her identities 'cause we don't even know what's her real name, can manipulate a large crowd on a daily basis and the list goes on...). She may be still young but this girl can create a 3rd War World. I want to see how the show will handle her development in the futur
@justaguy263 She's been prepped to be a villain for sure. Though I do wish we could get more organic villains through the writing and not just those that are armed to the teeth and given a reason to bite.
I'm still excited to see what she'll offer, though.

Come on, Smarty Pants. This isn't a clever or smart writer/showrunner here. It's Thomas Astruc. Evil Master Fu would be the smart thing to do, but Astruc isn't smart. The Supreme is Chloe. It can't be anyone else other than her purely because Astruc is the one writing the show.
idk would Astruc want to give Chloe that big of a role? He despises her so I think he would just want to write her off like he did in Season five or make her life in that universe be really bad.
Actually I was thinking that if it isn't Fu, it's probably Lila/Cerise. BUT I love the idea that Asctruc's pettiness runs so deep that he would turn Chloe into the evil-est supervillian in all of Miraculous.

The supreme could potentially been a situation where instead of fu defending the miraculous but instead goes baddie and take over the world in a way-, would make sense considering betterflys intro, and considering their alya and Nino and ?max? scream rebellion
Here is my thoughts. It’s obvious that shadybug and claw noir are one year older then our heroes from the prime universe. I believe this is how Marinette became a villain:
( let’s assume master fu already too revenge on the order due to being kicked out because of his mistake and because it is such a high honor to join the order he was disowned by his own family to rid the family of someone who is dishonest-able)
Now with Marinette it starts the same but Alya doesn’t arrive. Adrien does. As time progresses Adrien gets a crush on Marinette but she’s completely obvious to it. Chloé having a crush on Adrien herself gets jealous of Marinette Chloé gets desperate enough that she pulls of a blackmail which damages the reputation of the bakery. They are able to recover but with Marinette consistence insistence that she has done nothing wrong Sabine yells at Marinette. This incident starts to create a canyon between mother and daughter. Angry Marinette starts being mean to everyone and eventually attacking Chloé. Marinette gets sents away for a bit but returns home to see Tom and Sabine gone. This finally burns the remainder of the bridge and she swear to make them see the truth. Marinette here is completely broken. No friends, no crush, and no parents.supreme ( master fu) comes in.
It is such a shame to see parents refused to listen to reason. What if I told you there is a way to get revenge on that Chloé girl and force them to listen to you no matter what? Marinette jumps at the chance.
I am giving you the miraculous of the ladybug as a sign that you have agreed to aid me. Try it out. Marinette was instantly hooked. She now has powers above everyone else. She becomes addictive to it

Interesting, also it’s possible delision aka the swimming accident is still canon, MAINLY, it having an impact, possible only difference is that there was soquline and it was marinette who got kicked out instead
I legitimately was upset when they said they wouldn't be turning this into a spinoff or anything. The Supreme is such a more interesting villain than Gabe. And yeah, it's gotta be evil Fu *but* I like that they didn't outright say it and *let the audience make some inferences for once.*
Honestly, that was your fault for expecting anything good from Miraculous Ladybug. They've been taking a huge nosedive that they won't be coming back from.
Them the supreme is a looming threat in the main show

I'm genuinely very intrigued, he's an evil mastermind who is competent(unlike main timeline Fu) who despite not making any appearance his presence if felt constantly.
I'd imagine him finding out that his 2 main pawns to beat up the resistance joined them will greatly anger him, and perhaps would try to find replacements from other dimensions.
I feel that they can make a spin off, where the resistence now including former Claw Noir and Shady bug would try to find a way to break the Supreme's curse on their miraculouses and attempt to end his reign of evil.
Your desire for potential far outweighs the utility the potential brings. Spinoffs were a good idea at one point but it's been a decade since that was true (longer actually). I just want them to make the actual intended story as good as possible instead of splitting things into directions I can't care about with sufficient screw ups. This video is "imagine the ideal of if it's good" instead of the likely scenario of if it's worse or if it changes the product we still have. The supreme hs the potential to be the villain in an awesome show, but I want that special episode decanonized instantly
Hot take; That alternative universe would be so much more interesting to follow; the villains have better motivations, and the heros have more interesting and dynamic powers (and reasons to fight back beyond reversible damage)
I can imagine a cliffhanger of a portal opening and Betterfly, Shadybug/Ladybug and Claw Noir exit it in the season 6 finale.
Also question… what the hell is up with Lila anyways? What’s her end goal? Has anyone talked about this?

I think knowing miraculous and oh it's lower I can safely assume that maybe this universe will never be explored again because like miraculous has never really given the fans what they want so I think assuming that they are just going to be lazier or something like that I don't think that miraculous would actually be expanding more on this universe we really just have to see and I don't even think that this miraculous universe the darker universe is really going to get another like spin-off series those are just my thoughts because miraculous is generally just more focused on the main show than this but if they can make it another series then I'll surely watch it we will surely watch it not even me all
I'm also really interested in who the alternate Miraculous holders would be, evil versions of our side characters, the possibility of a good Chloe and thus Queen Bee, the possibilities are just so good. I hope they make a spin off

Maybe you'll get an occasional episode in the alternate universe, but not really interacting with the main universe, but still refrencing it a little, like Phineas and Ferb did after their special where they travel to another dimension.
My headcanon is that The Supreme was an alternate Wu who, instead of being chosen to become a Guardian by his family due to the honor associated with it like the original dimension, was alternatively an orphan who had undergone horrific training to become one. Think DC's League of Shadows level of grueling, mind-breaking child-soldier training programs. Instead of accidentally destroying the Guardian Order due to a childish mistake fueled by hubris, Supreme Wu embraced the cruelty to survive everything until the Evil Supreme Wu finally snapped and dominated everything with all of the vile teachings he himself endured.
Mabey thats what shows up in front of lila at the end on the newest series you know that bright blue light
When asked about the return of shadybug, claw Noir and betterfly. The only reply was: they haven’t seen the last of them. Which obviously means that they will be back one day
That’s a distinct possibility. I think it would either be Fuu or Su since those are the only actual Guardian characters in the show. I wonder if other heroes in that universe are also villains who are forced into helping the Supreme.
While following on their world would be cool, it would cost too much. Considering this is a sci-fi theme, even for Hollywood movies, it is almost impossible. That's one main reason sci-fi movies are not as common as other genres.
I love the potential and mystery of the story they left us with. I don't trust them to flesh it out well. Maybe if someone else wrote it, and it was for 13+ rather than 7.
Honestly the best and effective method to tackle the Shadyverse (yes I’m trying to have this coined) is to do a spin-off show of them doing episodes per miraculous retaking (especially for lore) or an avengers style team up special episode preferably 2-3 with our ladybug & heroes in a mirror style fight of the miraculous holders

Yeah, "Dark Fu" is probably the easiest answer for who the Supreme is. Instead of a accident, he could have just purposely gotten rid of the other Guardians so he'd be the only one left.
But, just for fun, let's see if we can't come up with a few alternatives.
Colt Fathom aka Felix's Dad-We don't know much about the guy, but he seems like a real piece of work. So, if he lived in this other universe, I could see him being a villain.
Felix-I don't know what this world's Felix would even be like? It's not quite a mirrorverse. It's just different. The characters, at their core, are still similar people. Would he be a little angel, or would he be a master manipulator?
Bunnyx/Alix-Instead of trying not to interfere in the timeline, this version could have been constantly changing the timeline for her own benefit.
Nathalie-Instead of playing second fiddle to Gabe, in this universe she's the one in charge.
Thomas Astruc/Animaestro-There'd just be something fitting about making him the biggest villain of the franchise, right?
The First Guardian-Maybe in this universe, whoever made the Miraculous items used them to trap and control the Kwami instead of simply helping them find the right wielders. We've seen some Guardians have some long lifespans, somehow. And someone "cast a spell" on the Kwamis, making them unable to reveal their owner's names. Maybe this guy could be the person who did that.
The Kwami King-This doesn't have any basis in the show itself. But, the Kwami originally left their planet for SOME reason, right? Maybe they were trying to escape some tyrannical ruler? And a Kwami who controls a human like a puppet would make for a interesting new villain. Think like a reverse evil Nooroo, who controls people instead of letting others control him.
Someone from a third alternate universe-Nothing says the Supreme HAS to be from the Shadyclaw Universe. We could get a new villain. Maybe someone who's trying to use the Kwami's multiversal nature to conquer multiple worlds. The Kwami's being multiversal singularities was just such a random thing to drop, that I'd like them to expand upon it.
A Kwami Predator-Again, this is just me being random. But, I'd just like to introduce a villain race that would hunt down the Kwami as their food source. They're such little guys, it feels like they wouldn't be the top of their food chain. Despite their ridiculous higher-dimensional powers, they still seem to require someone else to actually USE those powers. They can't seem to use those powers on their own. Maybe Kwami get tastier the more they use their powers? Like marinating your steak. Which would be a reason to hand them out to people in the first place.
A Alien race-Maybe the Supreme isn't one person but a group? And Earth isn't necessarily the only planet the Kwami's have ever visited. Maybe a different planet found a way to control the Kwami with it's advanced technology?
The Dinosaurs-Maybe in this universe, Plagg never blew up the Dinosaurs, so they survived. And conquered!

Look, forget all the numerous filler episodes miraculous has. Not to mention the series still putting out episodes during a writer's strike but if you have ever noticed Gabriel touching his ring every time he is forcing Adrien to do something then you know that this show knows their planning

This spinoff would have been better integrated with the main story in certain ways cause we all know that in the next season, Lila would be the main villain but using the butterfly miraculous is boring. it would be cool for the Surpreme to be mad at Ladybug and chat noir for turning his against him so he visits the world and gives Lila a much more powerful miraculous and she uses that with the butterfly making this harder for them.

I think the greatest potential about the supreme is that the guy control all the other miraculous like dude could learn a way to get to the main ladybug world and send a miraculous holder after our main duo theres lots of ways fof this to work out and its a bog opportunity for us to see the rest of yhe miraculous we haven't seen yet and see more interesting powers like we know the msin box is the most powerful but power is not everything to defeat someone
How does emily get damaged from overusing the miraculous (except not feeding the kwami could have the same effect) but lets say the kwami was fed how she gets damaged she is an adult

I actually saw an interesting theory. I don't believe it tho but it does make sense. But I really don't like the idea of the theory tho. Someone said that it tells us who the Supreme is it says only the Supreme defines reality. Reality is the Supreme... Basically, they are saying that the Supreme is Thomas Astruc... I mean, he is the creator, so he is reality, so they aren't wrong.... But I really don't like this theory. I hope it's Fu and not Thomas Astruc.... But I wouldn't put it pass Thomas to do something like this. But anyway. I doubt this theory is true at least I hope its not true... but then again, Gabriel did call the Supreme an evil being like it wasn't human, so I don't know.

IMO The Supreme WOULDN'T work in any other context than once-or-twice mentioned being controlling the world. Making them something else than McGuffin would ruin the character
