@loveornolove5668 if you'll trust this with yo life you shouldn't own a gun.... my standard mags are all 12 rounds but I have a 18 rounder and the more I got older the more I realized ain't nothing more reliable then the standard mags. Rock with yo shots and quit tryna look goofy with that the ugly ahhh extendos
17 for carry and 19 for backup. 40 just for fun at range.
Other way around for me I want mag with most already in it and other for spare mag

Otherway around. 19 isn’t that much bigger than 17 though. With that being said glock 17’s or cz 75 sp-01 are better imo.
@@perra5910 your right. The 17 is only around a half a inch longer. Barrel and grip. I just find the 19 to be perfect for my hands. I use a shield arms plus 4 mag extension on my spare mag. So I usually have 36 rounds when I'm cc my 19.
I have a 17, 19x, 43x, and a 45 cal. And that’s just my Glocks.
Here in Canada you got 10rd, 10rd or 10rd.

Magpul mags are the only after market mags I would trust

Buy 10 round blocked mags and take out the limiter. I do it for all my mags take them to the range no problem. Told my friends who are cops and they say if you have never been in trouble/have no record a cop checking your mag or even making a fuss about it if he sees you have a 10+ round mag is very unlikely. I’ve shot next to cops on the range and have let them shoot my p365x Macro with 17 round mags in it. Didn’t say a thing to me.

I like the standard mags instead of the proprietary X mags. It's why I went with a Gen 5 19 for edc

The 17 and 19 are the only mags I'll use on mine 😂. No promags for me, i value my life. I like the look and feel of the 19rd mag so usually I'll edc it with that, and my backup mag is the 17. Edit for spelling

Lol u ever actaully used one? My brand new g19 gen 5 and brand new 40 round ets runs legit perfect. So does my 50 round drum and my 10$ 31 round mag. Keep ur glock clean and it should never jam 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@@pdxxmattI just picked up a Gen 5, picked up the 30 round glock mag for it & shot over 200 times at the range with no malfunctions, I was thinking of getting a ets mag for it but was scared cause people say it jams but I really think it depends on the gun idk

All 3 mags but I use the 17 rounder in mine most of the time
17+1 is a lot of ammunition. 19 rounds in a spare magazine. That’s way more than enough ammunition you would need as a civilian or typical law enforcement.

Oddly enough. I’ve ran almost 600 rounds thru my 40 rnd ETS mag on the 19X (FOR RANGE PORPOISES) and it’s NEVER jammed. Am I just the only person who hasn’t had problems with ETS mags? Mine works better than it should.
I use the 17rd & 19rd, mostly the 17rd.

Never carry ETS mags or any other mags that aren't OEM. Its not worth the risk.
The 40 looks hard ash but for edc that 19 rnd is it!
My friend use to have a vest and the same clips so he would use the 17 then 19 then 40 mag in shootouts

Any of the 19X original mags with a TTI 3/5 rnd extension; still meets USPSA requirements 🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻

I’ve tried to 40rd & it works. Although the 10 mm 30rd does not work with standard Ammo it has be plus P to work
17 mag for carry. 19 for backup and range fun and pictures. U can keep the 40 round mag that will jam.
The 17 is enough and I will use the 19 for back up. For extended magazines, I stick with all Glock magazines. I have that same clear mag but it’s 28 rounds by ETS. It never jammed in my 19x.

The round magazine loos nice, but I bet the the 40 round jams a whole lot, and the the 19 plus on in the chamber gives you 20 rounds of 9mm

My arex delta gen 2 came with 5, 15 rd magazines. It’s better than any Glock I’ve ever had for about 4-5 hundred
Unfortunately in California we are restricted to only 10 round mags
The only thing I don’t like is that little ledge on the bottom of the grip it kinda limits you’re mag options

I have & do carry a 19x , I carry it usually with the 19 round & two 17 rounds spare mags & another 19 rounder too , never can have too many guns or ammo 😊😎

For those who didn't prepare early
17 for carry 19 for secondary mag and 40 is just gonna jam so i wouldnt personally use one because ur gonna need a high quality one but even those ones still jam
Ets is a good magazine , just don’t fill them up all the way I carry 15 in my 19 round & 30 in my 40 round never had any problems , and if I did I would just simply replace their spring with a Glock spring .

Never tried the 40 rounders but, My sds imports 30 rounders have been rock solid for Thousands of rounds. Make sure you test your Shlt.

I pick 17 round mag with a tarn tactical +5 baseplate
the 19R. with the 40R. in my pocket!
Go with the 19 plus one in the pipe, and know it's not gonna jam.. 20 rounds of good 9mm +p will take care of most concealed carry situations. Or get an actual glock 33rd mag

40 for home defense 19 for edc and 17 for range
19 round mag. The 40 rd is so impractical the only time I would use the 40 is at the range. In a self defense situation 19 rounds is more than enough.
