@@yavimayawurm9769 funny you ask, I did... I'm just not interested in this game, even though it's like £2.50 on sale right now.
Red Faction 1 was great but this one doesn't interest me, never had.
Guerrilla is the only game I can think of that I enjoyed more on easy then any other difficulty. It lets you be creative with the most fun aspect of the game, the destruction.
Yeah, Guerilla is fucking tedious on the higher difficulty levels.
@@IISG93II Definitely the word I'd use to describe it, normally I'm all for playing on harder difficulties in most games, but when enemies are sponges and/or I do less damage, I lower it, I have no patience for that rubbish.
@@IISG93II Yeah, I beat it on the highest difficulty but it wasn't fun. Usually I really like hard difficulty, but as you say, just tedious. Plus it means you have to adjust your play style for efficiency which takes away from the fun building destruction.
The only game where I died in the tutorial. Accidentally dropped the tower on myself.
Did 3 play throughs one just to play. One of total distrustion, I leveled every thing.The last time, I tried to minimize collateral damage, i tried to only destroy EDF property
I can't wait for the Armageddon review next. I still can't understand how people say it's a bad game, let alone one of the worst games ever. It's very obviously not, but you know - the internet, I guess? As for Guerrilla - it's an awesome game to be sure, but I just think Armageddon is a more "fun" game to ME. That being said, I enjoyed the MP offerings in Armageddon way more than Guerrilla even (and that one has really fun MP as well).
It seems the developers of this series are obsessed with demolition the same way Megumin is obsessed with explosions. LOL
9:00 The only Red Faction game I’ve played. So many memories. 😊 I only played for the destruction; I never finished the campaign.
Phenomenal game
Honestly I remember Armageddon being my favourite, Guerrilla was too long for me and I lost interest but loved the destruction and Armageddon has that in a smaller dose with the fun of rebuilding things to then destroy.

The hularious aspect of Re-MARS-tered is that there is a challenge in it where you can destroy the words G F W L, an obviously subtle nod to the garbage Games for Windows Live service that plauged the original version
this game irritated the hell out of me because even with ammo crates, I was constantly running out of ammo, getting overwhelmed by EDF, and the ending comes right out of nowhere and really soured me so much I didn't even bother with the sequel

@@johnkobert307 no I have seen the older reviews from years ago before, I've seen a classic Star wars battlefront 2 review with mod showcases, and then thrown away for a redo without the mods, as a mod lover, this has disappointed me somewhat.

Playing the new "Earth defense Force 6" recently, it feels totally wrong to kill EDF soldiers now. 😐
Good game that should have been great. 2 things ruin it. Infinite spawning enemies (on top of you and even in locked rooms) and the support guerrillas who uninvited destroy any stealth and do nothing but die costing you moral. Best you execute them quickly then complete your task.
Review some mech based games if you can.

This is still my favourite game in the series, tied with the first and I think it's a hidden gem of it's time. It got overshadowed just by the amount of other, great games that came out then. Although I find it funny this is essentially Saints Row with a different coat of paint. "Collateral Damage" is literally the "Criminal Damage" side mission from SR, the character animations and gunplay are basically the same, etc. I haven't played it, but I hear Teardown is a great successor to this.
