The only Hall effect PS5 controller that I have seen, granted there aren’t many options, that has a combination of good build quality, good price, or good performance other than the Nacon Pro 5. I’ve been using it wired with PS5 the past 5 months(only for COD and BF2042), and I couldn’t be happier with the software available on the computer and performance from the FPS PRO mode(available through software app). I’ll stick with it until a reputable company with a GOOD QA dept makes a better one.
@@BaconBitzzzzzzzzz only three I am aware of From AIM, Hyper and now Hex. I have one from aim and now one from hex and all I've heard about the controllers from hyper is that they're a complete dumpster fire. The Nacon doesn't appeal to me much since it has asymmetrical sticks and only two back buttons. Between the hex and the aim controller which I do plan on making a comparison video between I'd say the build quality is better on the hex as it seemed pretty excellent. The aim definitely isn't bad but the hex build quality wise is a little better. And I much prefer back buttons over pedals. For Pro controllers with hall effect and symmetrical sticks, this hex controller is one of if not the best in my opinion. And the calibration kit is pretty cool
The layout of the sticks on the Nacon is just my personal preference. When I’ve looked at the Aim Hyper and Hex controller reviews pretty extensively because I’m definitely interested in purchasing another HE controller that has the mouse click triggers, but all the reviews are so mixed(especially about AIM). I’m probably just going to get the Scuf Reflex Pro FPS and be gentle with it and keep it in its case when not in use so dust doesn’t build up around the sticks. I had the Xbox version of it and used it for MW2 for months without any issues. I just stopped using it because I switched to PlayStation.
@@anthonymurphy1843 I mean its a Pro controller for the PS5, not a "ps5 pro" controller. Any controller with added features like back buttons trigger stops. Mechanical buttons are considered Pro Controllers
Yeah, please do a comparison between hex and aim, craving to choose which pro controller to buy
@@federico9008 Will do!
I have an aim controller that still doesn't have stick drift after over a year of high use. Mouse click triggers haven't had an issue neither

Can you map L3 and R3 to the back buttons as well?
Yes! I just tried to map L3 to a back button and it worked
@ very helpful thank you 🙏

What about stick drift?
@@milky9102 zero stick drift experienced and all my gaming and testing were done with Deadzones set to 0 ingames.
hall effect or tmr?
@@stevensv4864 Hall effect. This does not have TMR sticks.
Why are you calling it a PS5 pro controller when it’s for the base PS5 too?
