Perfect Oddball Match in Halo Infinite Ranked
che controller mi consigli per giocare su sniper elite 5 multiplayer???ho un wolverin v3 pro soldi buttati nel cesso...mira lenta la versione torneo non viene supportata questo mi hanno detto quelli della razer
The Wolverine is not supported in that game? What's your budget?
All I want is a TMR controller with switchable triggers and four back buttons... Why is that so much to ask??
V4p is so inferior to blitz 2 in terms of FPS. I sold my v4p cause I couldn't stand it since I got blitz 2. The smoothness and micro response in the sticks is so much better in blitz 2 than v4p plus all mechanical buttons, you forgot to mention it over v4p plus the grips. Also, on the software side you can save and map keyboard keys or shortcuts on blitz 2 onboard memory.
Do you speak about TMR version, right? I'm torn between ordering Alps and TMR of blitz 2, I'm a little bit worried of sticks latency, that it might dissapoint me coming from ds4 alps.
@sawomirdziadecki3517 TMR is good you can assured , i changed from DS to v4p to blitz 2.
I got to disagree. I think the Vader 4 Pro is over all the better controller for this price. I like the triggers and the four back buttons better on the vader. Really no controller with only two back buttons is going to win out with me. The grips are not a big deal. You can get rubber grips to go on the Vader 4 Pro which is what I did with my 3 Pro. And Vader 4 Pro is much more comfortable to hold for me. The TMR sticks are really nice but not reason enough alone for me to pick this over the Vader.
@chronicmayhem I get it is your personal preference. But you just didn't give enough pros and cons of blitz 2 over vader, I can add one more for you latency. Wired is already better but for people prefer to play wireless it has more than 2x better latency and also better battery since they are TMR sticks which use way less power over hall effect. The build quality is also better than v4p since you can hear creaks easily in v4p with even a slight forced bent and way less or none in blitz 2, as for the buttons I got used to them instantly like in a week? Not a big deal for me in that area, it feels awkward first but it's definitely something you can get used to so not a deal breaker i believe. If I think about it more, I can give you more advantages of blitz 2 than vader 4 pro, only downside is no analog trigger and looks of blitz 2 other than that I think it excels vader 4 pro in every way. Also, you are the only reviewer who said it needs to cost less than what it is now to be worth? Bro have you used the blitz 2 enough to compare it side by side or researched about it enough? I loved my v4p but again blitz 2 excels everywhere except those two things I mentioned.
I feel the same as well I have both and find myself picking up the Vader 4 way more than the blitz. I like the blitz but ergonomically feels weird and I feel like everything just runs smoother with my Vader. Also I play a lot of COD and honestly I can’t tell the difference because I still am melting ppl with the Vader
So I recently purchased a custom AIM PS5 controller with the hall effect sticks during Black Friday week. I'm very much loving the controller; I got the mechanical d-pad/face buttons which I believe are a MUST HAVE if you're gonna get one. I would like to point out though, that they appear to be using new modules because I'm getting COMPLETELY different results in Gamepad Tester's circularity test than the ones shown in both this video and the one Gamer Heaven made around the same time. My left stick gets an avg error rate of between 7-8% and a few parts extend past the range of the circle, and my right stick get avg error of 3-5% and one corner doesn't quite extend to the edge of the circle while the opposite end extends slightly past. HOWEVER, none of this has seem to had any negative effect on my gameplay and the controller is amazing (even better after some overclocking.)
My Hall effect from Hex gaming does the exact same as you describe. Which just came out recently pretty recently. It would be interesting to have a newer aim Hall that controller and compare it to pre-order one. But you might be right about new modules being used.
hey man does the potentiometer is better than tmr for aim precision etc? always wonder if this tmr are btter or worse than cyclone 2 or tanratula
So the Gamesir tarantula also has TMR. I have a review on that controller as well. From the two TMR controllers I've used tension wise they feel about the same as a standard potentiometer joystick. My aim with the tarantula felt great this one, it felt a little off at times but I think that was more to do with the shape that I mentioned in the video. Basically long story short I don't think it's worse aim wise and if it is, it's a marginal amount that once you get used to it you would compensate and it would become a non-issue, I think the TMR in the tarantula is probably better, The Tarantula I would say overall is a better controller.
@@chronicmayhem awesome ty
You're welcome! Sorry for the long-winded answer
This is my first video where I added music in background. I tried a couple different things of this video. Let me know what you think.
Yeah, please do a comparison between hex and aim, craving to choose which pro controller to buy
@@federico9008 Will do!
I have an aim controller that still doesn't have stick drift after over a year of high use. Mouse click triggers haven't had an issue neither
When I download it months Microsoft store it’s always in Chinese how do i get the English version?
@@niiko2895 Link to the English version should be in the description. Really sad they haven't fixed that yet
I don’t know if you still respond since it’s been 2 months, but I’m a fairly casual gamer and not really into messing with my controller unless it’s more convenient for me. I’m just wondering: is the zero dead zone a necessity, or is it just optional? Also, how bad is the stick drift-does it worsen, or does it stay the same?
@BedRockgood It's optional and completely not necessary. I mention it because some people get really anal about having zero dead zone on their controllers. But in reality no it's not necessary and some people may not even like it. On some controllers I don't like having zero dead zone because then the controller becomes very touchy if that makes any sense. This being a hall effect controller you should not need to worry about stick drift really at all theoretically. The chance of getting stick drift on a hall effect joystick versus a traditional joystick is far far far lower. That's the advantage of this technology.
@ Thank you for your reply, and I appreciate you providing a useful response. Many TH-camrs seem unable to offer helpful replies, so thank you for being one of the few who can.
For casual racing, like Forza Horizon 5, would this be a good controller to use? Or would others like the Elite Series 2 or the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra be better? I currently use an old standard Xbox One controller. Google says the average hand size is 7.6 inches in length, which mine are over an inch shorter than, so I'd say I have small hands.
@@classiccj2569 I think this is Miles better than the elite series 2 and the turtle Beach stealth controller. And since you have the option to switch back to analog triggers, it should work perfectly fine for racing games. What makes this controller better than those other two is that if you do want to play a first person shooter turning on the trigger stops you get the mouse, click triggers which the elite series 2 and the turtle Beach do not have. The elite series 2 and the turtle Beach instead use a piece of plastic that slides into place to just act like a trigger stop. And overall this controller has better build quality than those as well. Edit. I missed the small hands question. That's A harder question to answer. You might not have the same issue I had with the hand grips being a little too short for me. You could purchase from Amazon since they have an easy return policy to see if you like it or not comfort wise.
@@chronicmayhem thanks for the speedy reply! I was worried if I ever did want to use it for FPS games which one I would want, even though I most likely won't, but I'm just the type of person to be like, "but what if I do?" If I do upgrade to a new controller I'll probably get this one! Thanks for the edit was well!
The best is the V3 Wired lol
@@DipSet85 dude I cant deal with wired only mice anymore ha
Why are you calling it a PS5 pro controller when it’s for the base PS5 too?
@@anthonymurphy1843 I mean its a Pro controller for the PS5, not a "ps5 pro" controller. Any controller with added features like back buttons trigger stops. Mechanical buttons are considered Pro Controllers
I don't get it:) if TMRs are better (more precise) why in the end you get Vader 4 with hall effect for fps?? :) (except 4 back buttons)
@@222keni The four back buttons are one reason (granted to me, it's a pretty big reason) the other is the adjustable stick tension, the Vader 4 Pro also has mechanical face buttons while the tarantula does not. The Vader 4 Pro is one of the only hall effect sticks that do not have a repositioning spring in them, although that's a minor detail, the chances of that going out on other controllers is extremely small. I wouldn't quite call TMR better than hall effect right now. I'd say it is a side step. There are good hall effect and they are bad hall effects. The Vader 4 Pro is one of the good ones and playing wise is very accurate I found. In the end for this price bracket, I think you're getting more playing enhancing features for the money with the Vader 4 Pro in terms of competitive play.
The only Hall effect PS5 controller that I have seen, granted there aren’t many options, that has a combination of good build quality, good price, or good performance other than the Nacon Pro 5. I’ve been using it wired with PS5 the past 5 months(only for COD and BF2042), and I couldn’t be happier with the software available on the computer and performance from the FPS PRO mode(available through software app). I’ll stick with it until a reputable company with a GOOD QA dept makes a better one.
@@BaconBitzzzzzzzzz only three I am aware of From AIM, Hyper and now Hex. I have one from aim and now one from hex and all I've heard about the controllers from hyper is that they're a complete dumpster fire. The Nacon doesn't appeal to me much since it has asymmetrical sticks and only two back buttons. Between the hex and the aim controller which I do plan on making a comparison video between I'd say the build quality is better on the hex as it seemed pretty excellent. The aim definitely isn't bad but the hex build quality wise is a little better. And I much prefer back buttons over pedals. For Pro controllers with hall effect and symmetrical sticks, this hex controller is one of if not the best in my opinion. And the calibration kit is pretty cool
The layout of the sticks on the Nacon is just my personal preference. When I’ve looked at the Aim Hyper and Hex controller reviews pretty extensively because I’m definitely interested in purchasing another HE controller that has the mouse click triggers, but all the reviews are so mixed(especially about AIM). I’m probably just going to get the Scuf Reflex Pro FPS and be gentle with it and keep it in its case when not in use so dust doesn’t build up around the sticks. I had the Xbox version of it and used it for MW2 for months without any issues. I just stopped using it because I switched to PlayStation.
Can you map L3 and R3 to the back buttons as well?
Yes! I just tried to map L3 to a back button and it worked
@ very helpful thank you 🙏

You don’t have to worry about being banned on Xbox because with the Gulikit adapter you literally have to connect the original Xbox controller and it makes the console think your pressing and using the original controller.
If you buy Gulikit adapter, you can use them on consoles Xbox Series X and PS5 Gulikit kk3 max can do 1000hz And it also has Macro which means you can auto press while even with the newest Flydigi Vader 4 it’s waiting for an update.

Glad to hear it! I do think that's the best strategy. People should try both and see what's best for them
I think the Aim controllers are better than the PS5 Scufs to be honest, because my Scufs always break even though I look after all my controllers, and I always get stick drift on my Scufs.

i have small hands, but i used until now V2 Chroma without issues. The thing actually i am concerned is the position of the (not removable) back paddles. I hate the mere thought of press them accidentally. Can you tell me your opinion?
@@pillopilgrim6353 So I've never pressed them accidentally. Maybe it's the way I hold a controller tightly, which when I'm trying to hold the controller tight, I move my hands closer together instead of squeezing them more tightly. So it's never been an issue for me with buttons or pedals on any controller. Luckily, with the really lenient return policies of places like Amazon or Best buy, you could try the controller for quite a while and if you don't like it, you can return it
One more con that I wanted to mention: the opening for the USB C port on this controller is very small and recessed, so you're not going to be able to use most USB-C cables with this controller. If your USB controller has a wider shroud, it's not going to fit. The only cables I could get to fit with this controller was the one that came with it and the cable that came with the flydigi controllers. All my others would not fit.

@@chronicmayhem thanks for the reply! Would the included dongle be the adapter you are referring to or would it need to be something else? Perhaps the Xbox wireless usb adapter? If I can still use this sick looking controller on Xbox and still swap to PC/Steam Deck then I’m pretty much sold.
@@PaintballTacoSo there are additional adapters you can buy that allow you to use any controller on any console. There are several on Amazon and I've seen videos from gamer heaven talk about them before. The controller as is with the dongle is unlikely to work on Xbox. I can't test for sure like I said, but it's not licensed by Xbox so it probably does not have the right protocols.
Note: When I am showing the PC software I am doing so wirelessly using the included 2.4ghz dongle.
26:01 As of yesterday, I was able to assign keyboard buttons to the controller via the pc app downloaded from the Gamesir website.
In case someone has trouble performing the firmware update on the controller via the pc app, causing an update failure message; which, in my case, caused all button presses, including the triggers, to register as "B" button presses. Hey bro. The two extra shoulder buttons near the bumpers. Are they naturally reachable or hard to press
@@elijnr they arent hard to press but I think they are awkward to reach location wise
May sound silly, but once I’ve put the controller on the charging dock, how does it charge? Do I need to plug the dongle in? Or plug the USB wire into a brick or device like a PC or Laptop?
No worries at all. So if you go to the bookmark in the video where I start talking about the doc, you see me unplugged a USBC, cable I had the other end plugged into my computer. Now correction from what I said in the video, that cable only transmits power to that port in the dock. It won't transport data so you still need the dongle plugged in separately to your computer, but that means you can have the cord for the charger plugged into a brick or your computer or really anything else with the USB port and it will charge the controller for you. I hope that helps
@@chronicmayhem Thank you. I have a HP Laptop so I hope that will be okay. But also will any brick or power source suffice? I don’t want to fry the controller, usb, dongle or the charging dock with something too powerful.
@@PROPHETBLXDE Any one I assume would be good. There isn't one that comes in the box. So Some more information, amperage and current is a pull function, not a push meaning just because you're having a charger or a charging brick that has a super high and a bridge and capacity does not mean it's going to force that entire capacity on the device it's charging. The device itself has to have the capability to pull that much from the supply (the charger brick, usb port etec) so even if you put a super high capacity charging brick on this thing which I don't think there's one that comes with a cell phone or anything like that, that would be super high power. Anyway, the device in this case the charging dock would not be able to pull and unsafe amount from that charger. I hope that makes sense. Source: I'm an electrical engineer in my day job.
@@chronicmayhem Thanks! I believe I understand. If I’ve understood correctly. I could plug the dongle into one slot on my laptop and then plug the USB C wire into another slot and the charging dock, then place the controller on it to charge. My laptop is a newish model with Windows 11 and 8GB RAM.
Yes. It would be completely fine doing that.
No gyro?
Yes it has gyro! Sorry I forget that feature often because I don't use it
I have this controller for cod I can’t put the map button anywhere on it and when you try cook a grenade it just throws it anyone know how to fix this?
I guess I don't really understand what you're trying to do.. usually to cook a grenade you hold down a button and then release to throw it
@@chronicmayhem yes and it just throws it, you can’t hold down the trigger and hold on to the item it just throws it
Is that with the trigger stops on and off? That would be really annoying @@BrettRist
You have to put equipment behavior on Toggle instead of hold
I got the Gamesir connect app from the microsoft store, and the little gear in the corner is specifically only for changing the language.
Amazing review but i still don't understand why it's gonna cost me around 400$ (same as the one you are showing) does it have AIMBOT built in ?
@@darko6275 lol no. Unfortunately, since these controllers are built from already existing PS5 controllers, they're usually assembled by hand I believe and when you get anything custom it's going to cost you a lot more money
Hello how did you get them to send you one for review I have another channel with 20k subs so yeah
Nice review. Appreciate the detail on the tension of the sticks.
@@rabbitnetwork7429 thanks! I thought that was important to mention as I've seen a lot of people complain that they feel hall effect sticks are too loose
*I WAS WRONG ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO MAP KEYBOARD BINDS TO THE CONTROLLER* You CAN do this with the GameSir Connect software (English software link in the description). You can bind any keyboard key or mouse function to any button on the controller. On the button assignment page of the app, click the button you want to rebind, click advanced settings at the bottom of the pop-out window and you will see all of the new options there to do this.
The small caveat is those advanced keyboard and mouse binds are only available in Xinput mode (Switch and Dualshock 4 modes can only handle button binds and macros.) Steam settings only detects the gyro in Switch and DS4 mode... So, if you're wanting to use ALL advanced features at once (keyboard/mouse binds AND gyro) you're kinda stuck using the native app to map the latter. A niche but noteworthy tradeoff
@PhantasmXYZ Does the rebinding work when the app is off after you apply settings? Or, does the app need to stay on to keep the keys rebinded?
@@Latin00032 works with app off, stored in controller memory
@@PhantasmXYZ maybe a good idea to request it in the Discord to work with DS4 mode and switch. They seem to be good with updates atm
6:40 the teory is good but actually is what they advertise? 12 bit linar 4000 sampling precision etc i mean if u compare with other gamesir before or any other brand hall effect
Yeah, from what I've seen they're listing a higher number of points than what I've seen in articles about TMR sticks. I've seen some articles that list about 3000ish. I think I would need to look it up again. What's interesting is on the gamer website that 4000 you mentioned they don't give a unit to go with it....so its 4000 what exactly
@@chronicmayhem im just lazy to write, i mean 4096 resolution samplin..
well iknow this isnt gulikit but in their site put this Is the resolution of the TMR joystick much higher than Hall effect joysticks? No, that's not the case. Carbon film joysticks, TMR joysticks, and Hall effect joysticks are all linear devices. TMR joysticks and Hall effect joysticks are both a type of electromagnetic joystick. For game controllers, the bandwidth of these three types of joystick sensors is sufficient. The resolution mainly depends on the sampling precision of the backend MCU, and is not closely related to the joystick itself. So after replacement, the joystick resolution, polling rate, and other performance characteristics will be consistent with the original controllers.
