@@brightmarksman1425 I bought their CRP pedals. Issues with the pedal brake feeling like so springy. A noticeable notchiness when slowly coming on and off the brake pedal. A design flaw which caused the pedal arms to munch through and ruin my anodised black aluminium profile to which it was mounted to. (Need to add a washer underneath to raise it 1mm) but damage was already done. Pedal plate is useless with so much flex and missing drill holes. Clutch starting squeaking like a mofo after a few days.
It has been over 1 month, Moza keep you in the loop by saying "We will ge glad to help." "Give us more time to review your concerns"

Very nice looking base and wheel, also very good video as always :) Small tip for Mr Barry, if you measure a mounting hole with your caliper and then zero it, you can measure the mounting holes from side to side and read the exact space between the holes and when you then close your caliper it will show you the diameter of the hole so you don't have to guess if its M5 or M6 thread :) Thx for your well made videos.

Great review. Just my 10 cents worth here but the grip seams are no different to Fanatec OEM grips just so we get a fair comparison.
The third party grips Barry was referring to are made by me at Pineapple Grips in the UK (Fanatec and SRM). We have never had one complaint about the seam so I think it may just be Barry levels of OCD here 😁

This is just a message to let you know the MOZA Racing is a total nightmare if you have any issues with their products. I bought an R9 base and a Formula one wheel and both of these products came with an important number of issues. After weeks of talking to their support, which it is deplorable, I'm probably force to re-start the dispute with the help of my bank in order to get part of the money they want to keep.
You really don't want to deal with people like this.
They are just doing whatever the want and deciding what to pay me back. I'm looking for the possibility of putting a legal complaint agains this company. Will be talking to my bank and will be looking to my rights on this situation to make sure I do what I can to get the full reimbursement of my initial order which they informed me is not going to be the case.
So please, in order to save you from getting into this hell, stay away from this company. If anyone wants to get more details or even have a call with me I will be more than happy to explain the full story I'm going through with this organization.

It has taken them awhile but slowly but surely moza are expanding their range and compatibility. Maybe not as quickly as we would like but they are getting there give them another 5 years and I am sure they will be as versatile as other brands that have been in the market longer than moza.

But I chose moza as it fit my budget nicely with the r9. I think I will upgrade one day to a higher nm base but first I need to build a little more muscle to handle it.
I think this is a consideration that many forget if you have not trained to be a race driver the higher force bases are likely a little too much to handle for newcomers to the hobby. I’m a tall and thin never really exercised much outside of walking my dog. So my arm strength was not ready for high nm bases after trying out a 20nm one at a exhibition. Hence I started out with the r9.

I have a question for the experts. I would gladly replace the wheel base with a DD wheel base and the steering wheel too. When it comes to pedals, I currently have a Thrustmaster T-LCM model. These are pedals with a load cell based brake pedal. They're great for me right now. They can be connected as a standalone unit to a PC via a USB port, without the Thrustmaster base. Would this make it possible to use the MOZA R9 V2 DD base and the MOZA steering wheel with these pedals? Will such a combo work / be seen in games like Assetto Corsa, ACC, Automobilista 2, Project Cars 2, or the upcoming Forza Motorsport 8???

Thanks for putting this out there, have seen this base and wheel and wanna buy it and this helps solidify my choice. One question though: what do you mean by "notchiness"? Like a deadzone right in the middle of the steering angle where it takes 1 or 2 degrees for it to actually start turning or more of a lighter feeling at that area? Thanks!

@@Menthor3 When I look up ''Notchy'' I meanly get definitions involving a manual transmission : "difficult to use because the lever has to be moved accurately (as if into a narrow notch)". I have found a dictionary website that uses synonyms for the word ''Notchy'' and those are ''not smooth; jerky". I assume the middle part moves in a rather jerky manner compared to the rest of the forces felt when steering.

In a way the FFB has a chainsaw feel instead of the expected linear but this could be due to iRacing doing weird things due to it's low FFB refresh rate. It would be nice to test it on ACC or rFactor 2 for example

When the base is of and you turn the wheel you can feel the single magnets, thr seperations and the 'jump' between them. Usually it should disapear as soon as you turn the base on and use it in game. Sometimes some of this can stay and you may feel it while in game.

@Sim Racing Garage Is there a way I can email you some pictures I want to pick your brain on the TGT2. I bought it cheap with claims it didn’t work, but it turns out the turbo power supply was bad. I took the one from my tsxw and used on the tgt2 and it works perfectly. But from trouble shooting I noticed some visible frayed wire inside the vent on the top right where you can see the motor. It’s only a little, it looks spliced into the main wire to the motor, almost like it just didn’t get all the way into the harness. I took pictures and wanted to share it with you. I did open it up (using your tgt video as a guide) and wrapped the visible wire with electric tape, and everything seems to work great. I just want to be sure what was going on with that wire

Just a piece of advise for anyone thinking about buying anything from Moza Racing.
I hope that this is not the wrong place to add this, in case it's not feel free to delete it.
I'm not going to give all details about the current situation but I'm force to bring American Express to a legal claim agains this company for totally ignoring several issues with their R9 and the FSR Formula Wheel that I bought a few weeks ago. The main message here is that if you get into troubles with their products you could receive the same unacceptable support I'm receiving which it is currently been totally ignored.
The base and wheel are failing since day one. I have been supplying videos and telling them about the shifting issues and the noise coming from the base and they are basically not acting as you will expect (last news received 7 days ago).
There are multiple issues with the base and the wheel.... tried all kind of things to make them work but they are somehow damage or something went wrong on the assembling process.
This is just a message to let you guys know that you could be facing the same level of support.
In case of anyone wanting to know more let me know. I can show you the videos that are showing some of the issues I'm dealing with.

I have a play seat and Logitech g29 wheel currently but want to make the jump to direct drive.
