Yea these really become dangerously addicting Retro Day Official :) I never thought I’d have arcades at home, playing these in the early 90’s I would have never believed it! Every time something new comes out I want it, it’s so cool having these.

Amazing how much our rooms have changed in the past year. And if 2024 is as good as we are hoping, I can only imagine what they will look like at this time next year. I think we may have to expand our spaces haha

Yea there’s a plan Saiyanspirits, but I also have room for 3-4 in other spots. When those fill in, decisions will be made with a few in the room. It’s going to be hard getting anything out of that room lol it’s jammed packed :)

Super cool setup, thank you for sharing! My personal favorite in your room is the T2, between that topper and the modded deck it really stands out. The real question is how are you going to manage to fit a vpin in there haha. Also follow up on my previous comments, ive got all my machines I ordered on black friday and they are all up and running great. Now im just waiting on my addams family 4kp and hopefully a Star Wars XL!
Thanks Hootz, great to hear from you man 👊 I have a few other spots that have arcades in them and the pinball whether it’s ATGames or 1up will go in another room and a few for the basement I was going to show the others, but just kept it simple. I’m glad you’re all set up, is Addams family coming in January or March?
@@PDX7 Not sure to be completely honest, I got an email from them a little while ago saying they would install the SSF kit me for an additional $50 and I dont want to mess with it so I said yes to that and I believe that adds like 2-4 weeks to my delivery so my guess is late january or mid february. Super excited :)

Wow PhilO, You really get them in there, how big is the room? I only got 5 cabs and 2 Vpins. Everyone is sick but me here PhilO. I thought of you today when I was at my GF's, here cowkitty was parked on her on the blanket and she said Holly wouldnt leave her. That's what I miss, the connection, never had such connection with any other animal but Cats. I really can hear your arcade rockin, its loud in there but very cool. If I had the room Pacman XL and Star Wars, Tron XL's would make it into my CarlOcade.
We might need to get a cat soon :) I’m feeling guilty about it, but Kellie keeps asking me to text the foster about him. I might tomorrow I need that, what you’re GF has is what I miss the most. Carl I think it’s an 11x11 room it’s tight, I can’t eliminate closet doors because I have some stuff in there so tough decisions ahead. I hope we see a Tron & SW XL next year :)
I've got the T2 cab and I'm putting the BUYSTUFF MOD on it soon. I also have the Mortal Kombat 30th anniversary. I'm definitely gonna keep expanding. Love your arcade setup, very inspiring.👏👍🤙🕹

I'm gonna use the (selector deck combo). It's going for $275.00. But well worth the price.👍🤙

A few cabinets I never see that always linger in the memory - Pit Fighter (terrible game, great cabinet), G-Loc (unsung SEGA classic), Hang On (full motorcycle cabinet), Outrun's Ferrari Cabinet and what I've learned is an ultra-rare metallic finish Space Invaders cabinet (which used to be at my local Arcade but I heard it was scrapped). Apparently there was only a very limited number of those produced. It was gorgeous. On a sidenote, I'll never forget how DEAFENING the Daytona cabinet is! What a classic.

Star Wars... Lucky! If Best Buy had it in store or something I would probably get one. I don't trust online for something that big. Saw all the fighters... I'm thinking "Must be a NeoGeo cab somewhere." Yep! Lots of fighters on that stuff. I got a mini and probably half of the games are fighters.
We need to do a road trip to Ollie’s, might find a SW there.
In the last 2 weeks I sold gen 1 rampage, final fight, mk2, street fighter, Galaga and street fighter cocktail. Planning to sell centipede but still leaves me with 6. I’d love to have that XL. I have Star Wars and would love to mod it, just don’t think I want to spend 400 to do so.
It’s expensive costs more than F&F mod, the chance of SW XL in the horizon it’s good to wait :) you’re making room ahead of time!
I bought a retro shooter, and want to put it in a time crisis cab. I think its the coolest cab. Arcade 1up has made so far.
How do you like the height of the screen? It would be awesome with retro kit inside.
Nice set up! I have some of the same cabs and some different. As far as Fighter cabs, I went with Killer Instinct and Marvel Super Heros. Just don't have room for all the fighter cabs, so I picked my 2 favorite. Got a good mix up of sports cabs, side scroll beat um' ups, shooter, and racing cabs in my arcade.
Thank you Excaidus, I wish I would’ve picked up Marvel Superheroes in 2019 must have walked past it 15 times at Walmart. Some of the fighters will phase out for new titles next year, Happy New Year man 👊
Love your game room! Maybe a little excessive having 3 SF2 cabs in there lol. Maybe sell one to make room for the Ms. Pacman? ✌️

Great collection. Always enjoy watching your videos. Question - out of the 15 cabs that you have, how many of them came with scratches and cosmetic blemishes on them? I own 3 and all of them came with minor blemishes out of the box. Just want to see if I'm unlucky or if it's a common occurrence. Cheers and happy new year.
Hey Ben, it’s great to hear from you man. Your 49ers are looking really good this year, might be their year! Pretty much everything I’ve got has something, but I always say this.. as long as the monitor, marquee and sound works basically everything out of the box I am happy with that. Only Pacman XL with a little molding peeling off was the worst compared to a few spots on other cabs. Plus if it goes next to something I don’t see it, but the more we buy we could run into problems. Been lucky so far for the most part. Just remember if there’s something you’re unhappy with always reach out to customer service when you assemble. Happy New Year Ben 👊
I just added Fast and the Furious. It's my first deluxe and I really am enjoying the form factor. I plan on modding that with the Buy Stuff encoder and a PC eventually but for now the game are fun. But other than that and the Legends 4k pinball, I definitely don't envision getting any more cabs.
You’ll get plenty of value out of the buystuff mod and 4k pinball, you won’t need anything else :)

u put urself in a pickle buying that new sf when u had the shinku already. Id say u should dump 2 of those sf cabs and simpsons giving u about 4 slots for the future and having some extra space in there!

You can put a switch in/ on your 1up arcade machines that light up only. You can add lighted to what you want to your arcade 1up machines

what happened to your class of 81 cab?
Unfortunately I sold it when I bought Pacman XL, after getting Galaga I wish I would’ve kept it now. So I’ll be getting either the deluxe Ms Pacman or XL 🤞if they come out with it.
I enjoy these videos. Everyone should have an arcade in their house. However, everyone would prefer the real thing to a 1up if they had the space. That cannot be questioned. I mean, any one who plays this stuff is thinking "I wish this was the same one I played when I was a kid".
You’re right, but it takes me back to being a kid again like it’s 95 all over again :) if I could I’d have the real ones just couldn’t get them up in the 2nd floor. Do you have any retro free play arcades near you?
Your arcade room looks great! Did you soft mod any of the SF cabinets? Big Blue went on sale in Canada for $399 with the stool for one day. I'm kicking myself for not jumping on it. It's back up to $699.
I haven’t soft modded SF, but literally just heard about that one. Pretty cool to have it all on it. 399 will be back especially when the next SF deluxe or XL comes out just hold off until your price comes back. They’re not going anywhere :) Thank you Dark Canuck 👊

Dude! Your Arcade is STACKED! Such great upgrades and a good use of space! I like hearing the excitement as you explain each machine in the room and love to hear possible future plans as the new year comes. I REALLY hope Arcade1Up comes out with that Aliens Vs. Predator as I think it would look amazing in the room!

Great looking arcade. I upgraded 7 of my marquees from Szabos. Makes a world of difference. I also put in many lit up coin doors, or lit up the pre-existing doors from Retro530. I lit up my Joust, Dig Dug, and KI all in a row, and it looks great. Cool to see other people's arcades and how they decorate.
Szabo’s marquees are a total game changer along with Retro530 coin doors I really need to get on that Eric :) makes such a big difference, Happy New Year 👊

Thank you for watching Danny, are you familiar with the Retro Shooter Pandora’s box? There’s 83 light gun games and pretty much every arcade game around 5,100 games. It’s a plug and play that can mod in any Arcade1up cabinet or you can just plug it into your tv.

Great looking home arcade PD7! You have options for expansion with having 3 SF cabs. Hard to believe that I started with the Pac-Man legacy in my living room and have now grown to 19 in my basement! What a great hobby! The Buy Stuff mods make our investments so much better. Happy New Year!

@@PDX7 I figure I have room for about 5 or 6 more in my current allocated space. I met @cornercade the other day and in our discussions he feels I should move my shelving to outside the arcade as well as ceiling mount my TV. I could then easily have a whole other row of 1ups :)

The arcade is looking great man! Thanks for showing and sharing it with us! Honestly if that SFII reminds you of good past memories. I would hold onto it and sell one of the other SFs with the same design marquee bezel (minus the size and style) I would also keep the Killer Instinct regardless. One because of space if you upgraded to the AtGames cabinet. And two as you put some more time and money into it. It looks great the way it is to me man. I hope here sometime to have a room with my modded Arcade1up cabinets. But I can't get motivated enough to make it happen by organizing the room to do it. lol I walk in the room, get overwhelmed then say screw it. ppppp!!
lol it’s a project and just have to force yourself like anything else around the house I’m in the same boat need to start a project and not really feeling like it :) KI in the dark with that marquee looks awesome only a Pro could be swapped with it, if I got AtGames it probably goes where either Simpsons is or in a different room because it’s so much wider. We don’t get anything for cabs so it’s like just keeping them instead of selling is where I’m leaning now. 3 SF2’s might stick around all year lol
@@PDX7 Yeah for sure man. lol I will hopefully eventually get going on it. But it is also the room I keep my clothes and my toy collections like my Gen. 1 Transformers, G.I.Joe, M.A.S.K. Gobots, TMNT, Star Wars etc.. You get the idea. I could probably only get a max of 3 cabinets in there as it is a small room for a master bedroom. lol The sit down PC modded Ridge Racer will go against one of the walls in the living room. The Star Wars will stay in the kitchen/dining room area. My wife's Pc modded and correct artwork Frogger will hopefully go into the main bedroom. And the Simpsons turning into a TMNT, The T2 (which will be flight cabinet PC modded) will all be going into the room I've been mentioning. And cool man. I bet that K.I. pops crazy in the dark!
It’s a really good room to put those in with your toy collections it’s a great combo! Real great tie in theming, maybe I can talk Kellie into putting an arcade in the kitchen :) every room should have one lol

Your arcades aren't real, just knockoffs, not the real arcade machines, just knockoffs. Real arcade machines have these things: crt monitors, 2 sizes: cabaret arcade machines and / or full-size arcade machines.
Real enough for me man, can’t bring “Real Arcades” upstairs in a spare bedroom. Thanks for watching
