- ONLY 15 MINUTES? A spicy seafood challenge, in fact I hear this is the HOTTEST THAI CURRY! I love Thai food and thai curries! In fact, they are my favorite, available in green curry, yellow curry, red curry and very spicy curry! Today we try this spicy curry challenge at Thai Spices in Mesa AZ. This place is known for it's quality ingredients and authentic thai flavors! For the challenge, the curry was about 5 x the spiciest "level 5" curry the house offers and we had only 15 minutes to get the $20ish meal for free. I was able to pick from their chicken, beef or seafood, so I went with seafood making this a SPICY SEAFOOD CHALLENGE I also was able to try a variety of their house favorites as I prepared my stomach for this VERY spicy challenge made with Thai chili's and many other spicy chili peppers!

Seriously. That was a ton of food. You would think being that full it would be hard to eat a whole super spicy entree .. Joel seems to have an endless stomach.

When I was a kid I washed dishes in 2 different Indian restaurants and a lot of the curry’s would burn your fingers if you didn’t have gloves on, I was amazed that some people could actually eat them
Thai is the best type of food for spicy challenges, because it actually tastes good while being that spicy. It's not super bitter or weird tasting like when people put a bunch of dried reaper powder on a burger, actually works well in a curry like that.

I think indian food is able to pull that off too. Chicken vindaloo is one my favourite spicy dishes.

Reminds me of this time I ate at Kennesaw Thai Cuisine in suburban Atlanta and I wanted SPICY. They had a warning on the menu that said "we do not remake food that is too spicy, respect the spice!!" I wanted to go for the 4/5 but the waitress talked me down to a 3/5. My siblings got 2/5. I almost cried eating that 3/5. I can't imagine what I would have been in for if I went for the "Thai Spicy"
