The way you always hang in there and even spoon that liquid lava into your mouth is serious commitment btw the best reactions from the staff and customers shows their passion and supportive sense of community
It's not just Joel but I enjoy it when I see others enjoy someone else's food and give great compliments. Being a line cook/"Chef" it's always cool to know others are getting down in the kitchen. I love spicy up to about the level of a habanero.. My tolerance sharply drops off after that, no matter how good the food tastes.. I can't fathom how you do these spicy challenges but it's seriously impressive and absolutely fun to watch!

Same. Habaneros have a great flavor. Most of them that get a lot hotter the flavor is not all that good (for the short time your tongue works).
My tolerance for spicy food is at competition level but even before habanero the taste is gone and is only fire… in and out
