Thank you very much. I this seemed like the only video i could find with the perspectives i need for my flight project. I highly appreciate this. Take care.
Wichita, Kansas the largest city in the state, has a building that is around 400 feet tall. It is the Epic Center and it is also the tallest building in Kansas. Drone proves that the Epic Center was quite a bit taller than what has been speculated.
Great video, thanks. I think that when you tilt the camera angle from vertical to 45 etc it really opens up the view and so where I was concerned what could be captured at 400ft this has really helped me to understand. Thanks again for a great explanation.
This footage is just what I was looking for. Permission to use some of it in a little music video I'm making? No profit involved, just like to put my favorite music to visuals. Your link and name would be in my credits. Thanks!
Why does your website say you can fly 400 feet above an object if you stay within a 50 foot radius? Part 107.51 indicates 400 foot radius. Been that way for over 4 years, unless there's a new FAA advisory or something I missed?
Don’t forget that 400 feet is AGL and max unless going over an obstacle. Also note that Class airspace may dictate that you fly lower than 400 feet or 0 feet AGL because of the restrictions possible down to surface with airspace restrictions.
I have a question about low flying drones. My granddaughter goes out daily to get our mail. She said she has noticed a drone following her. A little nervous about it, she sat down under a tree. It came lower and watched her for a couple of minutes. She got up and hurried back to our place. She looked up before entering and saw that it had followed her to our door. This makes me uneasy, as there are 3 females living in a duplex. Now this or these individuals know where we live. What can I do about this? She thinks she knows where the owners live.
I would suggest going to the police and reporting it. Even if they do not carry out an investigation. It might just be some kids messing around but better to report it. It does not matter how long ago it was or if it seem unimportant report it. I would also seek help to try and investigate it.
Once you reach much more than 1000 feet for a skyscraper height after that is pointless. It seems to me that my favorite height for a skyscraper is around 500-700 feet tall.
I dreamed I was driving a huge truck. Looking down from the windshield I estimated I was at least 200 feet above the ground. After seeing this video, I think it was more like 500 feet.
so true. If I trip over my laces and fall, then walk 500 feet and trip again, it hurts about the same. But if I go 500 feet straight up and fall out of a helicopter..........SPLAT!!
I mean .. he's been lifting weights since he was a kid. So this clip is understandable. Lol. ( An yes, I know that the weight dropped from like 30 feet in the air .. but still )
Great video! Now I finally know what it looks like from 400 feet! It's actually much higher than I thought!
Emmanuel Joly To me I actually thought it was going to be higher than what it turned out to be. I thought that was around 200-300 ft.
Same here. I’m barely scraping 50 and it feels high with my little piece of shit heygelo lol

What was the FOV angle of the camera used in this vid.?
Great video with a good explanation. Thanks

Learned a lot in your video. Thank you for making it 😊 really appreciate your content
Happy to hear that!
@@dronegenuity are you really though?
Awesome video! Really helped me understand some specific flight restrictions we have for an upcoming mission. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!

Good video really helped. Its only a small tilt of the lens but when you do its like it almost seems to immediately make it feel a lot higher
Although I see these views on a daily basis filming CRE projects - you did a great job putting the heights to a visual - great video!
What are CRE projects?

400 feet limit is applicable for recreational activities if laanc permits?
Hi, thanks for the very informative video, exactly what I am looking for. Just wondering what kind of drone you were using in the video. Thanks.
Our pilot was using the DJI Mavic Pro.
@@dronegenuity Thanks!

This was a great video and very helpful...wish you would have made a straight down shot at the commercial site. subbed
How can we access to these photos and videos of the drone at 100 feet?

Someone studied their rule 107 I see.
2:57 you can see a city in the backround
The city is Boston, MA
@@dronegenuityok that's really cool tho
@@dronegenuity Impressive that it can be made out that far. Acton and Boston are about 20 miles away from each other.
Just what I needed, perfect video 👍🏼
Thank you so much for the detailed video and explanation.
Excellent video. Thank you. Just out of interest, what town is that?
Exactly what I needed!!
How high are the claud sky?
How much price bro

Where is this place? I love it. So many trees :)

Do all drones fly up to 400 ft? Need to decide what drone to buy for my channel. Are these standard abilities?
Yes, if it’s not a cheap toy drone
Thanks now I know how it looks like (almost) at the top of the tallest building in my country
Fight for 600 ft!!!
This 4 of July was amazing with a drone I didn’t go to watch the fireworks I took amazing view from my house.
Thank you for doing this... I had a bad guess to how high I'm flying.
POV: You're Godzilla
Somewhere in the Northeast...but where?

Awesome video I'm from mass too
Dang this was amazing
Thank you
400 feet to the house or straight to the ground below (stupid question)
No problem! Straight to the ground.

How'd I loved it in a VR headset 😱
Imagine viewing space with VR.
What about a VR headset synced in real time to the movements of a drone? That'd be pretty cool.
@@uhhidk8253 look into fpv my friend we already do this :)
Great video, but that dude with the screaming green house, though (1:31 and 2:08).
hahahaha that's one boogery looking house
You'll never get lost trying to find his house. Lol. No excuses.
At what height can you no longer hear the buzz of the average drone?
around 100 feet depending on the drone.
I’m here to check future view of my future condominium which is about 100 ft above the ground
500 ft in distance is way different than straight up
so true. If I trip over my laces and fall, then walk 500 feet and trip again, it hurts about the same. But if I go 500 feet straight up and fall out of a helicopter..........SPLAT!!
400 feet is the same height as Godzilla in gxk
This is very underrated. I’m sad, I’m just a kid playing with a drone that can only go 300 ft.
OnLy
Bro, 100ft is high
Save Our Seas bruh ion know what I was saying this is cringe as shit. I broke my drone like a year ago.
Is it even legal to fly at that level?
Candace Sturtevant yes dumbass it’s a propel
She deserves the money
I came here to see what 100 feet look like because I'm going to a balloon festival and want to ride in a tethered hot air balloon.
I like flying near 400 feet...there's less stuff to crash into.
I'm Friendly, but not stupid.
I'm guessing the drone tell you it's height?
haha i thought i was about 400ft high but it seems like it was a little more than 650 xD
Sameeeee
So this is how Godzilla sees everything around him 🤔🤔
This is what I came here for 😂😂😂
