Very informative video! I loved the section of it detailing the industries that drones are used in. Very clear and concise. I'll be purchasing a drone soon and making some videos about it's usage in photogrammetry processes. Great video!
It makes me so happy to know these technology is easy and accessible for most people. It warms me up inside with joy, knowing the technology is here, and newer technology is always coming, 3D scanning have become so easy and its for the better of humanity. We can now 3D scan and inspect building for structure failures to save lives and reduce government/private cost, we can log/map things better for construction or climate related things, we can take advantage to see which farm areas is more dry then other areas to stop overwatering everything. Drones are amazing! and I can't wait for drones to become better and cheaper!! DJI most recent event showed a Drone that can be stationed in a docking station. where it automatically charge and can be placed in cold/warm climate despite storm. They can automatically take off and land on the platform with a few cm accuracy. It won't be long until we finally have drones that can deliver food and important healthcare things. As Tesla and many more companies are all investing heavily into battery technology! What a time to be alive!
Tell me, please, which application is better to choose for building a 3D model using drone photogrammetry? The purpose of the work is a technical examination of the condition of existing buildings.
So I'm trying to learn how to do all of this. However I don't have a computer that's worth a crap so I guess I have to do it on my phone. That's a android, but I have a few of the apps I just can't get it going. Can any of these or anything else make it better for me? Thanks for the video very detailed.
Hii sir, After the whole procees i am not getting th best results for my ortho mosiac images because the edges of the structures are curvy and bump not straight .. Can u please help me out ..

We use drones for lidar surveys of sewers, drains, culverts primarily because there is less/no danger in the confined spaces for personal.

For simple scans of lets say a home facade, will a 100 dollar drone be good for the job, or does ut have to be something like a phantom?
