I did mine yesterday. Came out really nice. It was a one person serving so I substituted sugar for the condensed milk instead... and to mix in I used milk instead of water.

Hi Tasha I love trying your recipes but this one did not work out my kurma was not hard and crispy after frying it was soft and chewy my sister also tried your recipe and had the same result as me. Help where did we go wrong.
My daughter is dairy free and I'm struggling to find a dairy free butter that will work. The kurma just breaks up. I can make it totally fine with normal butter so I know it's not just me lol. Any advice?
@@TriniCookingwithNatasha ok i will surely give it a next try...the kurma was soft...i think i should have knead the dough a little stiff next time, maybe i went wrong there.
Mine did not come out right. I used just a couple tablespoons water couldn't use any more. Looks taste smells good but it's like a brittle fried biscuit 😭

I use milk and it still comes out crunchy..I guess it's because I need it really firm

A wok will be to thin you should use a heavy bottom pan. The kurma etc. Will burn.

Most recipes substitute with coconut oil for ppl that are dairy free....I day give it a try

Is your kurma soft? Once you follow my way for the sugar and toss lightly it shouldn't break.

My problem on my first and second attempt is that the sugar never dried up. It stayed sticky on the Kurma. It looks like a glaze
