    Ahh this recipe matches so much with everything that i've bought to make a banana pudding, i previously thought that i bought more that i would need since i bought them based on two different recipes but then you combined it all!! Nice!! I will follow your steps;)🧡

    I'm going to try this but I'm not baking cookies. You have to let it set longer though. It makes the cookies softer

    heello, i tried the recipe and was wondering why my custard is very liquidy after putting it in the freezer for 2 hours is there any reason this happens?

    • @allysaw
      @allysaw  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! I wouldn’t recommend freezing the custard until after the whipped cream gets folded in because pastry cream tends to separate in the freezer. You can try to repair it by heating it up slightly and using an immersion blender to reemulsify it, but I would recommend just remaking it from scratch for the banana pudding. I hope this helps!

      Or you can use Magnolia recipe , they use Jello pudding. It sets up in about 2 or 3 hours.

      The containers I’m using are just half litre plastic containers like these www.costcobusinessdelivery.com/fabri-kal-plastic-deli-container%2c-16-oz%2c-clear%2c-500-ct.product.11229495.html but mason jars work perfectly too!

    Is it me, but I noticed the instructions on the website don't match the video. And the site is missing the whip cream guidelines.

    • @allysaw
      @allysaw  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry for the confusion! To whip the cream you can use a hand mixer or a stand mixer with a whisk attachment and whip up on medium speed for about 3 min, and just fold it into the cooled custard/pastry cream as I did in the video. The website is more for specific amounts and ingredient listings while my videos are more of a visual tutorial. I hope this helps! :)

    Hello! I did this today and wondering how long can I store it in the fridge? Or shelf life?

    • @allysaw
      @allysaw  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! The custard should last in the fridge for up to 5-7 days but the bananas unfortunately will turn brown after a day, so I would recommend adding in the bananas right before serving to keep it fresh!

    Super complicated this recipe. Magnolia uses jello instant pudding mix and Nilla wafers. I’m sure your recipe is delicious tho’😊
