Few extra notes:
They almost always ban a support champion, I assume to try and help ensure his team has the advantage bot lane.
Buy jungle item again at 20m, the gold penalty is removed at 20m and getting your smite upgraded is very nice.

This feels a lot like Baus, out farm everyone and steal enemy jungle without too many concerns for dying as long as you are drawing good pressure. Does seem risky if the enemy pulls wave early but that will only happen really high up.
The best thing is no one seems to really understand how to deal with it, if the react and try to stop him. He will just escape over the wall, which start a domino effect making them loose xp/cs

this is a cheesier strat than the baus, but the concept is the same, basically they act as a decoy to make your team outnumber the enemy in other lanes... doesnt work in low elo tho because requires a team that understand what pressure is and how to take advantage of it
Lol? More like just being any high elo top laner. Creating pressure top side no matter how is just a fundamental for this lane

This kayn's micro play really seemed to help a lot too. They knew where to q a lot, when/how much to fight to gain stacks, and they seemed to manage their e cooldown really well. Really cool strategy! It's interesting to see a proxy strat pop up
Last guy who got a smite top got banned
Im playing double jg without support with an safe ap mage on bot lane instead of an adc, and my mid plays with something like tristana or akshan, we won clash yesterday

Dying to ezreal looked troll to me and i was nah this cannot be for stacks to evolve. then i remember they where both very useless and not worth any gold. Letting him get killed by ez doesnt give ez much gold while he is worth gold again after. this death was so giga worth it!

@@trollyfox5421 he did last seasan back when you have a jungle item to upgrade, smite+ghost/tp top lane and just take everything in enemy jg and proxy, enemy jg can’t out smite you Caz smite used to scale with lv, and you just keep getting everything they have

You don't like playing singed, that's ok just don't. Just believe me when i tell you that i never got banned or even sanctionned for my repetitive atrocious kda. Most of the time people are banned because they are insulting and sluring ON TOP of inting, which i always did my best not to do, and which you shouldnt do regardless

I know it's just normal, but I had a recent game where I picked jg first, but lag obviously made the other person not see it in time before they called it too. I picked jg anyway, got flamed and ended up 18/0/5 and we rolled them. I played pretty similar as him, leaving most of our camps to the other jg and just invading the whole time. It was really fun tbh.
For french player out there this strat is definitively like a mix between Baus and the suicide kayn of crocodyle XD

Enchanters top with Smite now Junglers in top lane? At this point the normal top lane picks like Jayce, Camille, etc might take smite top lane cause teleport is garbage now.

i do the same with Teemo top with smite, but not that early game cheese, i always try to force enemy jg to start bot, and push my lane to invade to kill him and steal his buff with smite, always making a big waves, at lvl 6 i start proxying. clearing wave with 1 mushroom and wards with R the enemy jg, if somebody come, they will step on R and be low if they come, if they do, free kill XD

DUDE THAT'S SOMETHING UNIQUE
Im a ap shaco onetrick and i started using this in top lane with shaco it actaully gives you a huge advantage in terms of gold. Issue with ap shaco is his early game, kinda hard to get good cs without being punished. This strat negates that. Enemy top laner pushes first 3 waves by the time your done invading. you come back with the item advantage and wave frozen outside of your tower. enemy top laner recals and your caught up on levels and cs. all while having enemy jungler 2 levels below your jungler
Looks like all of my teammates in ranked have been running this strategy

just played like 5 seconds ago to a player that did this exact strat. Got destroyed really hard and was flaming full game. I guess he saw this and thaught it was good enough to do it.

Kayn is also a counter to sion, if life didn't needed more jokes. So he can create all this chaos for free basically, and just fly away with E

ok, funnliy enough, i've tried the same type of gameplay with kayn too, but as a support. The point is, i'm not generating any gold as a support, so what i should do isnt to steal my jungler's camps, but go straight in the opponent's jgl lvl1 (with smite/jgl item obviously) and solo invade the side where their jgl is NOT, take all the farm and instant gank the mid/toplane after that (to have a number advantage). Meanwhile, my adc is having solo xp in the botlane, and when my jgl is botside he's pretty safe, and when he's not i'm the one staying botside to make sure that we can countergank if something happens. Works pretty well, arounding 50% winrate but this can definitely get better. Also it's not like my team doesnt get the peel of a normal support with kayn "second jgl" since im always going red form no matter what (even if i have to go tank vs 5 range).

That's so cool... If only people below Diamond actually knew how to take advantage of the pressure and win. Instead they would blame you for their own flaws and report you for whatever.

I found out about this guy first from Xpetu the Shen main on EUW
He was unimpressed by it. The strat seems like a catch-22 that can only work where this kayn is.
You need a team coordinated enough to take advantage of you pulling pressure or you've done nothing
You need teammates who'll make picks that work for this
But you also have to be facing people without any coordination or idea how to deal with this strat
Xpetu pulls the level 1 and level 2 waves such that kayn gets none of the first four waves whatsoever and was able to go goredrinker and win the match.
So it's not a perfect strat, that's for sure
I think in the case where the enemy pulls wave, you just go straight into proxying. You’d definitely rather have them push than pull, but I don’t think it’s the end of the world.
I think the real kicker is shen being able to use ult to negate or match the pressure Kayn is creating by pulling people top lane.
@@JayTheYggdrasil the thing with proxying is that you can only get gold+exp at the same rate as waves arrive, which is less efficient than keeping up the preassure on the map and coming back to lane every once in a while
This is similary to a teemo player, insted he was support and only did this when his adc flamed him for playing teemo support.
Smite top meta may still live
only problem i see with this is that they put too much faith in their botlane but i guess that's every top strat in 2022

Yeah and you can already take smite on Singed. You can even go Spellbook because Singed can use flash, ghost, teleport, ignite, smite, barrier, and even exhaust, cleanse, heal.

We did this back two years ago. Best way to do it is to send three bot to jam in tower, then fan out, take jungle together, breathe in and out, but my allies too noobish to understand macro.

I never saw too much of a problem with Objective Bounties since on paper they come off as a good incentive for people to play out a game against odds... games like this make me think, though. Like, I love seeing these builds but it's kinda lame when it revolves less around the pick and more around the bounty system, if that makes sense. :( No hate to the players who come up with these things of course - I have nothing but respect for their creativity and passion (even if said passion is simply to show Riot how screwy their system is)!
First, I just want to say that the numbers this is putting up aren't anything crazy, it's viable, but it's not even close to game breaking. Dying repeatedly like this has some very real downsides that aren't completely made up by the bounty system alone. The map pressure, the proxying, the bounty system and Kayn's form all work together to offset that downside.
Proxying is a huge part of this strategy, it allows you to die without losing very much, if any, farm and I can't think of a single other champion that can force proxies as reliably and as early as Kayn can (especially when behind, because dying repeatedly will put your behind)
Form is also an absolute key part of the strategy. It might be the single strongest power spike in the game, and the timing works out so it's often combining with your Goredrinker purchase. With this power spike, even before you even claim any bounties, you can completely flip the lane from being 0/5 to easily winning your 1v1 duels. Proxying helps here too because it allows you to fight without worrying about dying as much as normal, which means you progress form very quickly.
The strategy starts to seriously fall apart very quickly if you don't have suitable replacements for both of these components, which I can't think of a single other champion that does. So, in summary, this is revolving much much more around the pick than the bounty system. Then, even if it did revolve around the bounty system, it's not presenting any kind of balance issue, I don't think it's even close to being like roaming top was with Janna being the highest WR top laner.
@@JayTheYggdrasil I think my comment came off wrong. I'm not the best at wording my thoughts. :( I wasn't trying to imply that the bounty system is the *only* reason this works, and I certainly don't want to discredit the player's clear skill and amazing game sense in any way.
To me it seems it's getting harder to deny that the objective bounty system *can* be taken advantage of in general, that's all!
