The patches came because of the increase in inting Sions in low elo. They just ran it down in lane. Bought hullbreaker first item and just went for towers like a robot. You could get games where a 1-16 Sion won the game from just towers

Me and some of my friends talked A LOT about the difference between griefing Sion and inting Sion. It basically comes down to decision making and what you do when you die. Inting Sion is when you can manage to freeze/proxy and therefore ending up scaling where griefing Sion makes bad decisions and loses more games then winning basically. Really good explaining in that video though.
No offense to the amazing player that Baus is and I'm not saying he's wrong or anything, but it's easy to say that a death is just an opportunity when you're playing a champion that can actually do something after he dies before his screen turns gray
It's honestly a lot less about sions passive and a whole lot more about this guy seeing the potential that the champion has by utilizing that passive and realizing that advantage. Sion as a champion was very unpopular at the time baus came up with this strategy and that's the reason he's famous for he isn't another zed spamming mid laner.
It's also the fact that a lot of his deaths don't give an advantage to the enemy other than the literal gold and exp from the kill. For example he's fine dying while he's proxying because it doesn't give his laner any wave control advantage, and it might even draw jungler and/or mid pressure away from his teammates. That part can be applied to any champ but ofc Sion does have his passive. Also in general when he ints early he outfarms and outlevels the enemy so hard that he almost always ends up just collecting the shutdown bounty later down the road. Basically making sure you're still ahead in gold and exp as well as other resources even if/when you die

I feel like people saying he's inting are just meming. He's perma challenger so he is obviously not inting but the thought of a Challenger player just straight up running it down every game is just super funny 😂
Isn’t first time int sion appears was in 2018? and sion pick in 2018 int is double compare to 2022 int sion? I don’t think babus actually playing int sion in 2018.
that was a different inting sion strat. for 2018 the meta was simple: purposefully die to tower and use your sion passive to get a huge chunk of it. that strategy was the cause of turret plating being introduced
If youre challenger you for sure know how his passive works, so its ok for baus to take krugs from jgs as it helps him, and their whole team in general seeing how baus can carry with ad
