Thanks for the reminder course. It’s been a while. My brakes on the trailer are good as new now after a repair and bleed.
    Cheers from Australia,
    👍👍🍻

If you take as a rule to tighten first the wing-nut which is closer to the tube you won't need to use the clamp handle. Your hand force will be enough and the tool will last longer. That's the reason why smaller diameters are placed to the center of the tool.
Thank you for the video. It has been great to show it to my apprentices.

I was practicing using the tool and my line got marks from the clamp bar, is that normal?

If you pause the video at min 1:35, you will notice that the pre-flared brake line that you purchased has two different lengths for the tube nuts. The one that I purchased is the same as well. What's the reason that both tube nuts are not the same length?

It looks like the right hand nut does not thread all the way to the end is a metric nut. I may be wrong since it is a bit blurry. The left hand one is threaded all the way to the end and would be a standard nut. It's not uncommon to find standard nut on one end and metric on the other on American cars.

i know a little late but the longer one is for installing on the back of a knuckle/hub. its just to make the nut longer for easier access, otherwise it is the same nut generally

Nice presentation, but poor focus control prevented providing a clear view of what you did. Should redo this vid.

Dont buy this Old way flaring tool, its junk and its gonna be 5x worst if you flare under the car. Buy the Titan flaring tool. This old ways only good for single flare, and if you do double flare like brake line under the car you need luck. If you do single flare yes this thing work most of the time but double flare like brake line under the car you gonna need prayer
