      It's def. a fun trail. Last time we did it at night, in reverse (upwards), while a lil Wet. Keep up the great work!

      @@beachboy4928 awesome! I only tried doing it at night once and there was a guy in front of us that lost his driveshaft on that obstacle. So we turned around.

    Whats up warpaint, at the point in my build i am doing the small stuff. been building as bullet proof as i can, so i ordered these. The one issue is when you torque to 115, they do not line up. maybe 1 of the 4 bridges will line up. then you either have to go way down or up to line them up. a few of those bolts i prob got up to 130-140 to get them to line up. did you have this issue?

    • @WarPaintOffroad
      @WarPaintOffroad  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey! So just apply more pressure to them. I did have that issue. Just take a look at them and see which one between the two is closest. Then make that one a little tighter until it fits. These bolts are WAY stronger than the factory stuff. You won’t hurt anything.

    Happen to remember the part number for these? Thank you

      GM-14AX That will get you them. They make some great stuff. They also have the ability to make anything you specifically need.

    I've never ever had these nolts loosen on me. I also don't like the full thread - I prefer the short, smooth shank on the OEM bolts.

      It depends what you do with it. Most, if they check have them loosen up. It’s bad offroad with lots of stress on it. Either way, these have a zero percent failure rate…can’t say that about the factory bolts. Granted, there are way more vehicles equipped with the factory bolts than these…but these are higher quality, stronger bolts, that can’t not loosen up.

    Torque spec on the 14 bolt with the 11.5 ring gear is 148ft lbs

      Awesome! That’s great to know. It’s been a minute since I watched this video, I may have mentioned it…but this one is the 10.5.

    I have the Dana 60 front and hat locking hubs and really hate the slugs, they do something like this for the front too?

    • @WarPaintOffroad
      @WarPaintOffroad  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not that I know of! But reach out to them. They might. And if they don’t, they might design the bolts for you if they deem the need to be high enough.

    You need to wheel some rocks and scuff those bead locks up some. Lol

    • @WarPaintOffroad
      @WarPaintOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea…these wheels are pretty new. And to be honest, that one happens to be in the best shape. 🤷🏻‍♂️. But it will get there.,

  • @TwoFeatherChannel
    @TwoFeatherChannel 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    maybe the Beadlock Wheel manufacturers should use that bolt technique on their bolts
    since that is the reason I hear of them not being street legal because of bolts might get loose

    • @WarPaintOffroad
      @WarPaintOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You know…it’s not a bad idea. But I’ll tell you, I recheck mine every couple months and they are never loose. The other side of that is that your tire would go flat long before they were all that loose. So it’s kind of funny to think that’s the reason. But maybe it is. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • @TwoFeatherChannel
      @TwoFeatherChannel 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@WarPaintOffroad yeah you and I know that is not the real reason. I've never had a bolt, torqued or not torqued come loose. but that's the reason government and sales people give, probably to save their ass from lawsuit
      I've driven on interstates doing 80 mph and had complete axel shafts come out of the passenger rear and pass me up and didn't feel a change in drivability, same with tire blowout. only notice the axel shaft is it was dark and seen sparks in my side mirror and the blowout only felt it is when I slowed down.

    • @WarPaintOffroad
      @WarPaintOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TwoFeatherChannel I’m sure that’s it! I mean tbh, the beadlock is safer. You get a blowout or take a turn with a flat or low pressure it won’t roll off the wheel. Crazy.

    Drill your OE bolts and wire lock. Looks better. Does the job

    • @WarPaintOffroad
      @WarPaintOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could. Not sure it looks better. But it definitely works.
