She looks so TINY next to him it's hilarious all by itself- those three couples were golden on the show. Marie and Frank were very grumpy and always bickering, Robert and Amy were the exact opposite and always tried to be as positive as usual to each other, and Ray and Debra were in between. One of the best shows ever.
3 couples? Let's not forget Debra's parents and Amy's parents. Every scene those 2 couples were in were hi-larious. Everybody on this show were consummate professionals. Several of them are no longer with us, but they all provided so many happy/funny memories to so many people.

It just hits the nail on the head so PERFECTLY, and all the characters--Ray and Debra, Robert and Amy, DEFINITELY Frank and Marie, and then all the secondary characters like Ray's writing pals, Gianni, Frank's lodge friends, Robert's partner and ex-girlfriend from Italy Stephana--are just so believable and hilarious! ELR is the "I Love Lucy" of our time should have the same fate--to be in reruns forever and never die!

Phil Rosenthal's real-life father as well as Ray Romano's real-life father appeared as some of Frank's lodge buddies, they're the guys who hang the "Congratulations Woody" banner at Robert's bachelor party 😂

@@victoriaphillips8925 Ray Romano has twin sons in real life named Matthew and Gregory but after filming the first episode he felt that using his real kids’ names for his kids on the show hit too close to home so they changed the twins’ names to Michael and Geoffrey but kept Ally’s name. Matthew and Gregory were also played by different babies in the first episode and when the names were changed, the babies were changed to Sawyer & Sullivan Sweetin, twin brothers of Ally actor Madylin Sweetin.
She let it grow immediately. I loved it in season 2, in particular. She may have been forced to cut it for previous acting jobs before winning the part of Debra Barone, you never know. She had super short hair in Beethoven.
@EmceeNolan No, the debut of it is in the pilot episode. In case you didn't know, Ray is the reason Robert developed the chin touch. When Ray was a baby, Robert would watch Marie feed Ray his baby food and it always catch Marie's attention when Ray got food on his chin while eating. So Robert started putting food on his chin(purposely) when he ate to get Marie's attention, IT DIDN'T WORK. Robert did it so often under the stress of being neglected that it became a habit of dealing with stress.
So Amy probably comes by and talks to Deborah often- belly aching about being single and Deborah not once mentions Robert!! That’s how it goes. Married people never think about their single friends🤦♀️🤦♀️
